No to Oil, Yes to Clear Skin This Christmas

Posted: December 20th, 2009 | No Comments »

So how does the cool weather cause oily and blemished skin? The cool, crisp, dry air dries up the skin. When this happens, the oil glands naturally overcompensate for the dryness and produce more oil. According to dermatologists, excessive oil production and abnormal shedding of dead skin cells can clog pores and cause bacteria to proliferate, thereby causing acne breakouts. So one must first keep oil under control in order to prevent and control acne.
Luckily, Clean & Clear makes available two special product bundles to keep the skin from breaking out and help girls achieve fair and radiant skin, without the excess oil, this holiday season.
Enjoy pimple- and oil-free skin with the help of Clean & Clear’s Pimple Clearing Kit. This kit consists of one CLEAN & CLEAR® Active Clearâ„¢ Pimple Clearing Cleanser (50g) that helps clear pimples while at the same time, gently soothes irritated skin. What’s more, it […]

Short Film Screening at Tomato Bomb’s Eksena

Posted: December 16th, 2009 | No Comments »

December 15, 2009 is a memorable day for me as a film maker. Why? Because for the first time, my short films entitled Kuya Bunso and The 12th of June were shown in a non-blogger event. Thanks to Mr. Mike Dagnalan (Isnats, River of Dreams, Karoler), who serves as one of my mentors at the Sinelab Scriptwriting Workshop for inviting me to be a part of this month’s Eksena at Tomato Bomb.

Blogger Actors @ Tomato Bomb

I invited some of my blogger friends (mostly part of the production team) two nights before the film showing. I am quite confident because the feedback in the Davao Bloggers screening was positive. In fact, half of them preferred Kuya Bunso though most of the girls preferred The 12th of June for obvious reasons

Though the show started a bit late, I am […]

A Passion to Run – Saving Sights 5km

Posted: December 14th, 2009 | No Comments »

This was the first Running event I have ever had.  5km is the longest run I’ve ever had so far.  It was more tiring than I thought.  After 1km, I swear I said I won’t make it…

I don’t know but I sill continued to run.  With every step I make, I hum a song in my mind to keep up with rhythm.   When I was approching the finish line I’m like “This is it… This is it… FINALLY!!”

Hannah and the Banana

I made it in 34 minutes!  Which is such an achievement for me!  Imagine!  I ran the entire Bonifacio Circle! in 34 freakin minutes and I expected to be done by 45 minutes pa
I’m not sure if I am part of the top 10 runners in girls but I am just so happy that for my first time (I don’t jog at all, I swim) I made it […]

103.5 Max Road Challenge the Bloggers

Posted: December 13th, 2009 | No Comments »

I was so busy at work…
I did not have the time to plurk…
Lucky I logged in
I saw Benj’s invite I said “I’m in!”
LOL lame lame poem!   Anyway, Sunday morning … a group of bloggers: Benj, Eugene, Jeff and me were in a competitive mode to win this Road Challenge!  We were hyped up and booklets with questions were given to us.  At first we were saddened because we did not know all the answers to everything and we had to pass with either blank answers or a scientific guess!
Anyway, we did our best to answer everything and to accomplish each task.  We went to the places stated to find clues… Brought our guts out to ask weird questions from strangers just to satisfy our booklet with answers.  We had to tune in to 103.5 all the time while Eugene was driving so that we will get answers.
At the end, we […]

From Banchetto to Tagaytay

Posted: December 13th, 2009 | No Comments »

One random boring Friday with all the energy still stored up in my body waiting to be released, I asked my good friends for a Banchetto night.
Banchetto is a food market bazaar every Friday night to Saturday morning in Ortigas Emerald Ave.  Banchetto is actually an itallian word for “feast.”  I’m so glad there’s a feast then in Ortigas once a week!  You’ll see a variety of foods and you must come to experience Banchetto yourself!  If you plan to go here, you must not eat dinner… or just eat a light snack before because you will really get your tummy stuffed!
Banchetto starts at 11pm Friday night and ends at 11am  Saturday morning.
What I love to eat there?
After that we hanged out at Ortigas Park and just talked about geek stuff   Ialso opened up about my career and these two friends are so supportive of it
After Banchetto, I […]
