Yummy Yo! Frozen Yogurt in Cebu

Posted: September 18th, 2010 | No Comments »

What’s new in Cebu? This froyo store is. I’ve spotted at least more than 20 frozen yogurt stalls and shops around Cebu! I’ve tried most of them and you may wonder, what makes this one different? One weekday afternoon after coming in from a meeting in USC-TC, I was finally able to pay this newest […]

Six SEX Videos! (The Soccsksargen Experience)

Posted: September 16th, 2010 | No Comments »

The first weekend of September 2010 is full of fun, adventure and food! Although we missed the highly anticipated Tuna Festival 2010, Cai, Winston, Sarah, Fitz, Don and I feel like we had our ‘personalized’ Tuna Festival because of the SEX TOUR (The Soccsksargen Experience) organized by Avel and Orman Manansala with the participation of the Soccsksargen bloggers.

SEX Tour Participants at Punta Isla Resort

I have to admit that we were quite sad when they announced that the Tuna Festival was moved to the third week, but I knew deep inside that something BETTER is planned for us. Days before our arrival, Orman and Avel asked for our schedule and gave teasers (posters, restaurants, day 1 and day 2 itinerary) which made all of us really excited!
I want to blog about this trip in a more special way, but since I am still busy re-organizing my thoughts from my travels (Out […]

Pablo’s Steaks and Crabs: Honey Dew and Dragonfruit Shakes

Tired and famished from my hour and a half afternoon flight from Manila to General Santos City, Cotabato, I was ready to eat a feast – and a feast I got at Pablo’s Steaks and Crabs. But more than that, I was able to drink for the first time a Honey Dew shake and a […]

Free LED Video Board Ad worth Php 150,000.00

Posted: September 11th, 2010 | No Comments »

The prize of my next contest is a 150k php worth of LED video board advertising. The location of the LED video board is Guadalupe Bridge EDSA northbound, bordering Makati City and Mandaluyong City. This is one of the most popular spots and in-demand outdoor advertising sites in the Philippines, because it captures the attention of a large traffic audience everyday!

Your blog will have a chance to be spotted in one of the busiest roads in the metro. Your short video ad will run for 10 seconds and will appear 5 to 6 times per day for 1 month!
Here’s an example of my short video ad that appeared in the LED board at EDSA-Guadalupe two years ago.

Here’s an actual example of Nuffnang’s LED video ad at EDSA-Guadalupe

If you want your blog to be seen by thousands of Filipinos and foreigners who passes by everyday via EDSA Northbound then this is […]

I Just Wanna Be on the Beach (Sunburn!)

Posted: September 10th, 2010 | No Comments »

Here she comes, golden island senyorita. Here she comes, do you know her name?

I am currently playing the song ‘Sunburn’ by Sandwich as I type this entry. It is one of my favorite beach songs and I am sure that most people (especially those who are working in the corporate world) can relate to the song especially in this part:
I need to get away from the city
I need to get away from the work
I need to get away from the traffic
I need to get away
Got to get away

I am not a good swimmer, but i really love going to the beach. I am fortunate because I’m going to the beach (again!) 10 hours from now with seven more bloggers. Yes, I won at the SEAIR – Microtel Blogger contest! I’m quite excited to meet them (never met any of them in person!) and the fact that I’m going back to […]

SOLO Larry Alcala Collection & Model Search

Posted: September 7th, 2010 | No Comments »

Just like any other ordinary young kid, I am fond of reading comic strips whether that is found in a newspaper, magazine and specialized comics compilation books. It served as my dose of entertainment especially when we visit some of our relatives in the province. There was even a time wherein my father read the main parts of the broadsheet while I automatically get the entertainment part just to read the comic strips

Wear Larry Alcala inspired clothes and win in Solo’s Online Model Search contest

Even in school, some of my classmates even cut these comic strips and paste it in a used notebook and it served as a part of our collection (those days!). We couldn’t afford to buy our very own Archie, Jughead or Betty & Veronica comic digests so we ended up making one through the old newspaper clipping. We also supported Filipino comic strips and […]

To My Dearest Friend Ada

Posted: September 3rd, 2010 | No Comments »

One of the highlights in my blog last year are my birthday posts dedicated to my blogger barkada friends collectively known as ‘The Nyoks’. I didn’t forget their birthdays and I wrote my personal messages for them complete with pictures. Due to my trip to Cebu and Singapore last year, I failed to write a birthday entry for two of my closest girl pals and one of them is the one and only crazy yet admirable blogger named Ada Lajara of Adaphobic.com.

I am here right now in Cafe Amoree in General Santos with the SEX Bloggers (SOCCSKSARGEN Experience BLOGGERS lolz). When we planned this trip, Ada is a part of it. But she needs to stay in Manila for now and celebrate her birthday with some of the special people in her life

I am writing this blog post in rush, but I do really wish for my dear […]

Pink Salmon in Apple and Mini Bagel

Posted: September 2nd, 2010 | No Comments »

Today I marinated pink salmon steak and salmon belly in lime, dried oregano leaves, salt and cracked pepper. Then I steamed the proteins for about 5-10minutes before I pan-seared it in cholesterol-free butter. I topped the salmon belly over a mini bagel and thin slice of green apple. I also prepared a “sauce” for the […]
