Nescafe 3 in 1: Brown ‘n Creamy

Posted: August 7th, 2011 | No Comments »

Have you tried Nescafe 3-in-1 Brown ‘N Creamy? I’ve always wanted to know how it’s like but never had the chance until a couple of days ago. I’m not really a fan of 3-in-1 mixes because I prefer a different ratio of instant coffee, sugar and creamer for my drink, which most 3-in-1 coffee products […]

Unlimited Travel with PAL’s Fly Asia Pass

Posted: August 6th, 2011 | No Comments »

My last travel was in Hong Kong last February and I feel like I haven’t traveled in ages.  I know, I know I’m a travelholic and a shopaholic.  I usually travel at least every two months (locally or internationally) and right now, I’ve been dying to do that.
I got excited knowing that PAL is offering Unlimited travel for a fee of USD 270.  With this I can already travel to whatever Asian country that I want within 7 weeks (or until December 31, 2011 whicherver comes first) and with whatever I can afford because I still need to pay for surcharges.
And yes, I can go to Singapore, Hong Kong, Macau, Taipei, Bangkok, Ho Chi Minh, Jakarta, Beijing and Shanghai – all I want and as many times as I want.  It also includes unlimited local travels to Cebu and Davao!  So, if within the next few weeks you are just […]

Globe Blackberry Playbook Plans

Posted: August 5th, 2011 | No Comments »

Globe just recently launched their latest Blackberry Playbook plans for their subscribers. Pre-ording is over but you can now get the Playbook with blackberry at the rates below:

Check here for details.
Globe launched this together with Blackberry just a couple of days ago and they raffled off a few units of Blackberry Playbook.
I didn’t win one through raffle because I’m horribly unlucky when it comes to those things… But I believe that we make our own luck and I even wrote a parable for it… and so I joined the BEER drinking contest!  Actually, thanks to Glenn, Winston, Coy, Jonel and Aaron for “forcing” me to join.  Good thing I was already done taking my antibiotics @_@
I am not good with beer, but I had to chug it like water because I can feel the force of the Blackberry Playbook calling me!
And so the night ended with me holding on to […]

SM Beauty Within

Posted: August 5th, 2011 | No Comments »

A lot of people gauge beauty by what they can see on the physical.  People never complement you by saying “Wow, you have pretty cells” but we all know that the key to have fairer skin, hair and overall well-being lies within.  It’s what we feed our body to fuel our physical needs.
Ah, make-up.  It’s so in demand.  It does wonders, it does magic!  True, I put on makeup myself to enhance my features.  But wouldn’t it be nice to have skin as smooth as a baby’s and hair that’s oh so soft?
Trend or no trend, I’m happy that people are starting to realize the importance of being healthy and that beauty starts from within.
SM Department Store recently launched their Beauty Section that now offers an entire area for beauty ingestives.  Individuals can now unravel more beautiful versions of themselves beyond skin deep.  With SM Beauty Within, they introduced a […]

Smart Spending and More Convenient Shopping with VISA Debit Cards

Posted: August 4th, 2011 | No Comments »

Banks have been thinking of better, safer and smarter ways to accommodate the needs of your normal daily spending activities.  As a full-time blogger, I need to keep on satisfying my shopping, food tripping and travel needs
Else, what am I going to blog about?
I’m pretty sure all of you are spenders as well but are you spending smart?
As a frequent traveler, I find it hard to trust my surroundings – especially when I’m in a foreign area.  I once traveled ALONE to Malaysia (yes all by myself!) to meet a few of my blogger friends there.  I took a budget flight and you know how late the flights leave in Manila and arrived at a very awkward time – 12 midnight!
I didn’t think through my transportation mode much when I planned my trip.  Trains were already closed.  I didn’t know how to ride a bus there. So imagine… […]

Testing WordPress App for Android

Posted: August 3rd, 2011 | No Comments »

I am using HTC Chacha that runs on Android.  I downloaded WordPress app for Android.
I am testing this because I am trying to see if I need Blackberry Playbook for me to blog.  It has the best browser among all Tablets (so far) because it can render flash.
And I need flash to use wordpress.com
But, I’m testing if this Android app would suffice.
Insterted is a photo of the Blackberry Playbook that I won
Apparently, I can upload photos using WordPress app for android. But the problem is, I can’t seem to edit where I want it to appear. @.@

Extreme Sports for My Extreme Stress

Posted: August 3rd, 2011 | No Comments »

Entering this new chapter of my life has been extremely stressful but I’ll be honest and say that I totally don’t regret getting into what I am into now. I will however admit that I am rather in need of a break. I’ve been buried in my books, notes and diagrams and I feel like […]

Sports: Skills or Chance?

Posted: August 3rd, 2011 | No Comments »

I can distinctly recall the days when I used to watch my younger brother’s school competitions in football. It was fun when I saw him playing against different schools and it was even more exciting when he brought his sports competition to a higher level. I’ve seen my brother train a lot and I’ve seen […]

Yagit’s concept of self-presents is a post from: Batang Yagit For those who are close to me, you might already know that I often reward myself with self-presents. Self-presents are basically gifts that I give myself for a remarkable thing that I have accomplished or during special occasions. Most of the time, these items are unnecessary and […]

Manila Traffic App: Metro Manila Traffic Navigator

Posted: August 2nd, 2011 | No Comments »

Finally, a tool that would help everyone navigate the daily chaotic traffic in Manila!  Technically, it’s not an app.  Well not yet, but still the website will render beautifuly with any medium – even your smart phones.
This has been introduced to everyone for beta testing and it has been helpful for a lot of people using it.  And now, it’s officially for you to use! There is no definite way of solving our traffic problems here in Manila, but I believe this tool is one way to plan your route and manage your time.

I invite you guys to have a look on it, it will take you 5 minutes at most to understand how to use it.  Click away and explore and I think everything on the site is self explanatory.

Nagsasa Cove, Zambales and its lustrous beauty

Posted: August 2nd, 2011 | No Comments »

If you’re from the busy city of Manila and planning to have a microvacation, I highly recommend Nagsasa Cove. The whole trip would only take 2 to 3 hours including the ride to Mt. Pundaquit, where boats to Nagsasa are located. Going to Nagsasa is pretty simple. Just take bus going to Iba, Zambales from […]

Lipton Yellow Label Tea: Endless PossibiliTEAS

Posted: August 1st, 2011 | No Comments »

It was a casual gathering of bloggers at Calvin Deli in Bonifacio Global City; and together with Chef Rosebuds of Quickfire, we explored the “endless possibiliTEAS” of Lipton Yellow Label Tea. Many people drink hot tea only […]
