They didn’t call Bacolod the “City of Smiles” for nothing!
The Masskara Festival started in the early 80s. Â That was a time for crisis in the city with a sunken ship and the sugarcane crisis. Â It was bad times for the people of Bacolod. Â The artists and the government worked to hold a Festival in that year. Â This was intended to turn the gloomy atmosphere of the city and turn it into an activity that would give the people hope. Â Indeed it was the city of smiles. Â After may years of celebrating this, it is proof that the people of Bacolod can rise up to any challenge and move on to a positive light.

I am so surprised that we are seated at a box. Great view! I forgot my glasses though.
I am watching the premiere showing of Stomp LIVE here in Manila CCP. The show hasn’t started yety but I will post another review of their show which should run for 1 hr and 40 minutes!
TIP:
Don’t be late! You will miss the grand entrance and they will let you in only after 10 mins.
Turn your phones off! This will jam their sound and lighting system. Enjoy the show instead!
Don’t bring your digital cameras and SLRs unless you are an official photographer. If you do so, you would have to deposit them outside.Â

Pride ruins relationships. I don’t know why people cling to this. Most of the time, when I argue with someone, I am the first one to swallow my pride. I know better now than before and I know that it’s just pointless to keep it there.
I mean pride in a certain amount is ok, sometimes it’s good. But too much of something is just not good at all.
It’s such a heavy feeling and literally, it can put me emotionally and physically down. It’s such a stress.
It’s best to just pause, breathe deeply, clear my thoughts for a while and think slowly… Think on what matters most and what makes sense.
