L’Oreal Total Cover, Live Streaming Makeup

Posted: September 2nd, 2017 | No Comments »

Gaming for hours in front of PC could take a toll on the skin. For live streamers, we want to look presentable to our viewers. I usually avoid any makeup during my stream, except for thick eyebrows and some bold lipstick. But on some occasions, I like to prep up for streaming when I feel good!
It’s the holiday and when we have no work, it’s time to play! I can play 6-8 hrs a day if I’m free. Sometimes, I do it in the wee hours because internet is usually better and less clogged!
While I can use makeup for everyday use at work or when I have events, I feel the need to enhance my face’s features when I go on a live stream as well. This gave me idea to put L’Oreal’s Infallible line to the test.
I already tested L’Oreal Infallible line on my blog and vlog before. I […]

Poloniex 101: Newbie’s Guide to Buying and Selling Cryptos in Poloniex

Posted: August 30th, 2017 | No Comments »

If you’re already trading cryptos, then this post is NOT for you. This is a quick guide for those who have no clue how to buy and sell Bitcoins, and trade it to other coins like Litecoin, Ethereum, Ripple XRP, Stellar, or other well-known crypto currencies out there, in Poloniex.com.
First of all, I will answer Jacq’s question on “How to send your Bitcoins from Poloniex.com to Coins.ph in order to withdraw it” in my previous post about Buying ethers in the Philippines. Once you’re logged in, just go to Balances > Deposits & Withdrawals.

Then go to your BTC wallet, and click withdraw (right beside deposit):

Enter your Coins.ph BTC wallet, enter the amount if BTC you want to withdraw, then click the withdraw button:

Enter your 2FA code (if you enabled it), then click the withdrawal verification link that will be sent to your e-mail. Then you’re done.
If you another cryptocurrency (i.e. […]

Guam Reef and Olive Spa Resort, Room View and Hotel Tour

Posted: August 23rd, 2017 | No Comments »

*If you’re having trouble reading and loading images, click here for my blog’s full view.
On our first 2 days in Guam, we booked at Guam Reef and Olive Spa Resort Hotels. It scored 4 out of 5 in Tripadvisor reviews, and 8.2 out of 10 in Agoda.com reviews. It’s a 4-star hotel, known for their infinity pool cliff view of Tumon Bay with access to the beach. You have the best of both worlds!

Sunset view from the room’s terrace

Check out my vlog for the video tour of our room in the Infinity Tower with Partial Ocean View.
Hotel Facilities
They have all the facilities a tourist would need in a tropical place. The beach, infinity pool, gym, spa, restaurants and services like shuttle and car rental. I honestly just tried the beach and the infinity pool. There are caveats to these amenities, that is, there are hidden charges.

You have to rent the […]

Planning our Luxuriously Frugal Guam Trip

Posted: August 18th, 2017 | No Comments »

View from Dusit Thani Guam

We planned our trip to Guam way ahead of our planned dates. I wanted to use my US Visa and at that time, I wasn’t expecting to go to mainland US anytime soon. We booked our flight to Guam before we realized we needed to go to California earlier this year. Unexpected travel means we have to be more frugal with our budget. Nevertheless, we planned Guam with the intention of staying at the best area, Tumon Bay. This means, we want luxurious accommodations, but we want to use our budget wisely. We have to choose hotels that are worth every penny we spend. We started saving for our Guam trip as early as last year. We allotted 5k pesos every pay day.
Manila to Guam Flight via Cebu Pacific
We booked our flights more than 6 months before our trip. We got really affordable rates from Cebu […]

Tropical Booze

I created this music thinking of my trip to Maldives. Since I’m allergic to booze, all I can do is find a substitute to it and that is music.
Feel free to download this track.

Donations would be much appreciated to keep my blog, my music, and my vlog alive. :*

BenCab Museum in 360

Posted: August 9th, 2017 | No Comments »

Bencab is one of my favorite places in Baguio. Every time I tour friends and family in Baguio, I always make sure to stop by Bencab Museum. They all love it! My cousin actually took a 360 photo of the place – stunning view!
While I’ve been here 3 or 4 times, I was always on a rush! I was either keeping a schedule or we just don’t have enough time to explore. I’m not really an artsy person but I do appreciate all the art that’s found here. What I’m after is the ambience and the contrast of a modern artistic world vs. nature. Take a look outside the building and you will find a beautiful garden, fenced by a group of hills. This is the view I’m after. And if I were to go back, I’d love to just sit by the garden, drink coffee and eat some pastries […]

Dunkirk on IMAX Review

Posted: August 8th, 2017 | No Comments »

I haven’t done movie reviews in a while. It’s mostly because I have tons to do and it is not my priority. But I miss freestyle blogging so much that tonight, I’m just itching to write!
I will try my best not to spoil the movie, but then again, there’s nothing to spoil really. This is history relived in the cinema. Actually – in one hell of a cinema, the IMAX!
If you want to watch it, I suggest you watch it at IMAX or anywhere with ATMOS. The sound quality will transport you back in time, taking you to the edge of your seat through the entire movie! There aren’t a lot of dialogues in this film, not even shaky chaotic action scenes (referring to Transformers films). All it has is good acting, supported by great cinematography and powerful scoring that will involve you in every scene.

Dobby Selfie Drone Sample Video – Guam

Posted: July 29th, 2017 | No Comments »

Testing out our new gadget, the Dobby Selfie drone! Unboxing and review to be posted in another video. Bottomline – perfect drone for beginners!  Some wide angle shots are taken from my GoPro Hero 4 Black

Video edited purely on-the-go using Dobby App “DoFun”, GoPro “Capture” app, and GoPro’s Quik app for editing this video.
I uploaded this video montage so you can check the image quality of videos taken by Dobby drone, unedited! I didn’t use any filters or enhanced the video. I did however cut the videos for the montage but that’s it!
Overall, it did the job for me! The video could be enhanced further by software. It doesn’t have a gimbal but it still was pretty stable despite strong winds at the beach. It has an Electronic Image Stabilizer. This drone doesn’t produce commercial-grade professional videos, but as you can see for the small size and the price, it […]
