Pagbabago

Posted: September 30th, 2010 | No Comments »

It was one of those days where I wasn’t really feeling happy so I decided to go to any place where I can just be alone and think things through. I decided to go to SM since this was a place where most of my childhood memories formed when it comes to Sunday outings with […]

I Promise To Do My Assignment(s)

Posted: September 28th, 2010 | No Comments »

Assignment Overload! If only I can copy/paste everything…

I Promise To Do My Assignment.
I Promise To Do My Assignment.
I Promise To Do My Assignment.
I Promise To Do My Assignment.
I Promise To Do My Assignment.
Just like a Grade One student who failed to do her assignment, I think I need to re-write the sentence ‘I Promise To Do My Assignment.’ many times for me not to forget to do my assignment. I am just happy though that all i need to do is highlight the whole sentence, press CTRL+C and then CTRL+ V
Getting out of school doesn’t mean you don’t have any assignments to do, finish and submit to the right people. I am writing this list on my blog now as a reminder to myself and hopefully, i’d be able to accomplish everything before Saturday (or else I am soooo dead!)

Finalize Wordcamp Presentation – The 3rd Wordcamp Philippines is […]

Micamyx supports Alaminos, Pangasinan in Kraft Eden’s 100 Days of Christmas

Posted: September 27th, 2010 | No Comments »

Christmas is just around the corner. You can hear Christmas songs and you can even see Christmas decorations in homes, schools, offices and any other place you can possibly think of. Just like what they say, Christmas in the Philippines is more special compared to the other countries. Exchange Gifts, Christmas Parties and of course, the food served will surely be the highlight of every gathering you attend to.

Alaminos, Pangasinan – The Home of the Hundred Islands

Just last September 4, 2010, Kraft launched the world’s longest Christmas celebration with the Eden’s Sarap ng Pasko: 100 Days of Christmas. Last year, I was able to join the Kraft Keso de Gallo in Pampanga on the 4th of December. The new project for this year is twice the fun and the excitement!
What makes this project unique? Well, 100 towns from different parts of the Philippines presents their Unique Dish, and the top […]

Gilbey’s Premium Strength with Green Tea Extract

Posted: September 27th, 2010 | No Comments »

It’s time for another alcopop feature and for today, the limelight goes to Gilbey’s Premium Strength with Green Tea Extract. I was able to first try this one early this year and all I can remember now is that this tastes like light beer with gin. So if you like beer-gins, then you should try […]

Lockers and More

Posted: September 26th, 2010 | No Comments »

Going to school with all your stuff is tiring. For me I can’t imagine carrying my DSLR, back up lens, netbook, three major textbooks, school papers, reports, and research all in one huge back pack. I know I’ll be needing them any time but I guess what I need to do to lighten my impossible […]

The SEAIR – Microtel Boracay Bloggers’ Tour Experience Day 3

Posted: September 24th, 2010 | No Comments »

It’s suddenly Monday…
I didn’t really sleep that Monday morning. I took a short nap for thirty minutes and went outside to take pictures of Microtel Boracay and Diniwid Beach with Gael.

Search for me in Boracay

Diniwid Beach is a private cove in Boracay. Only the guests who are staying within the area can go there (not unless if they’re patient enough to walk that long or if they’re going there via boat). I took some shots of Diniwid Beach while waiting for the rest to wake up:

Waiting …

Waves

Rocks on my way

Diniwid's Beauty

Private Beach

Then the rest woke up already!

Darwin taking pictures

Gracee and Van with Sir Fernan of The Philippine Star

With the ever smiling Czarleo Gimena of SEAIR

Now it’s time for a hearty breakfast before going to Caticlan Airport (T_T)

Time to eat Breakfast!

Of course, I took the opportunity to take more pictures at Microtel Boracay. I will surely miss this place! […]

Christina Perri – Jar of Hearts

Posted: September 24th, 2010 | No Comments »

My playlist the past days would include Tristan Prettyman’s Anything At All, Beyonce’s If I were A Boy and Christina Perri’s Jar of Hearts. I wouldn’t stress why these songs seem to speak about my pain and stuff like that because it’s too obvious. Anyhoo. I first heard Jar of Hearts in one of the […]

Cafe Amoree, General Santos: Durian Frappe and More

Posted: September 23rd, 2010 | No Comments »

Nightcap with the GenSan bloggers at Cafe Amoree… I was hesitant at first but I knew I have to order it – else I should give up being the Thirsty Blogger. Yes, I’m talking about the Durian Frappe. I’m not a fan of the fruit (even the pastillas), and having it as an iced blended […]

Back when I was .. is a post from: Batang Yagit …thinner? I know I’m getting fat but when I look at the bright side, I had always wished I had been fat when I was kid. I was once the lampayatot kid next door. Being thin has never been easy back then. Just this […]

The SEAIR-Microtel Boracay Bloggers’ Tour Experience Day Two

Posted: September 21st, 2010 | No Comments »

If you’re thinking that our first day in Boracay is the busiest day, better think again.
I woke up at 9PM alone in the room. I blame the cozy room of Microtel Boracay for giving me a cozy sleep which lasted for hours. Most of the bloggers and staff went to the Church to attend the early mass. I asked for my breakfast coupon and ate  breakfast alone.

Lunch at Fish Bar Boracay

By 10:30AM, the Microtel Shuttle sent us to ‘D Mall for our lunch at Fish Bar. I like the simplicity of the restaurant. If i’m not mistaken, they are best known for their Fish & Chips. They offered different types of dishes. With good food and relaxing venue, we were able to know each other in a more personal level and even exchanged ideas about blogging (specifically on making money online teehee).

calle Z cafe, Tacloban: Sipping Bulalo Soup and More

Posted: September 21st, 2010 | No Comments »

After being out on the streets for almost the whole day, watching the dancing and stage performances of the Pintados Kasadyaan 2010 Festival in Tacloban last June, I was ready to retire and sleep early. But not before I try the best bulalo in town from calle Z café! Sipping the warm soup was heaven, […]

The SEAIR-Microtel Boracay Bloggers’ Tour Experience Day One

Define Happiness (Photo By Gervic)

“What happens in Boracay, stays in Boracay… NOT!”
Last week, I went to Boracay and met up with seven young bloggers who also won at the SEAIR-Microtel Boracay Bloggers’ Tour. I joined the writing project mainly because I want to go back to Boracay. I felt the need to be on the beach and do things I haven’t done during my past two trips. I need a break despite the fact that I’ve been travelling for three straight weekends in a row.

So how was my trip? It’s not my first time to ride in a SEAIR plane for Caticlan, but it is my first time for the check-in counter to not accept me in the flight. Yes, I was late and didn’t make it at the scheduled flight The important lesson here is I should go to the airport way, way earlier. I arrived 40 […]
