Weekend

Posted: February 28th, 2010 | No Comments »

Yeay! Finally, a weekend I can call relaxed and refreshing. It wasn’t the best weekend I had but I liked it much, well save for the fact that I went to the ER again last night after a long time because I was crying with a friggin headache and I was vomitting blood.
Anyway, what made […]

It’s About Time Men Wear the Pants Again

Posted: February 28th, 2010 | No Comments »

Calling all men. It’s time to wear the pants.
“Once upon a time, men wore the pants, and wore them well.  Women rarely had to open doors and little old ladies never crossed the street alone.  Men took charge because that’s what they did.  But somewhere along the way, the world decided it no longer needed men.  Disco by disco, latte by foamy non-latte, men were stripped off their khakis and left stranded on the road between boyhood and androgyny.  But today, there are questions or genderless society has no answer for.  The world sits idly by as cities crumble, children misbehave and those little old ladies remain on one side of the street.  For the first time since bad guys, we need heroes.  We need grown-ups.  We need men to put down the plastic fork, step away from the salad bar and unite the world from the tracks of complacency.  […]

Tsim Tsiu or Mano Po is the Filipino-Chinese act of receiving a blessing from an elder relative by means of gently making contact between the hand of the elder and the forehead of the youth.
Tsim Tsiu is literally translated as Kissing the hand but is now adapted in the form of contact between hand and […]

Joey Pepperoni Pizzeria at Marikina

Posted: February 27th, 2010 | No Comments »

I’ve always wanted to eat at Joey’s since this place is just 1 trike away from our house, but I can’t come there alone. So I asked a friend to eat there.

Crews are really hospitable as in very very, to the maximum level! I’ve never encounter such hospitable crews in a dining restaurant like them. Though waiters are that not cute, I find them cute na! Really warm and very hospitable.

We’re so haggard that day, we sat there, then a 5-minute inhale and exhale. Really we’re so tired that day! Here comes the menu book now..

We ordered Lotto Appetito (Chicken Fingers, Mozzarella sticks, and Roma Tomatoes). This is good for 4 to 5 persons. For only P270.00.

I ordered their Mafia Meal Set 4 (Pasta , Salad,1 Bread and Single serve Drink). Their pasta is available on Bolognese, Pesto, Carbonara. For only P155.00.

While my friend ordered Mafia Meal Set 6 (2 […]

‘No Problem’ Sutukil in Cebu

Posted: February 27th, 2010 | No Comments »

I once did a post about Sutukil in Mactan Cebu. Now I’m going to share a little experience in “No Problem” Sutukil.
The sutukil restaurant was named as such because they once had tranny waiters/waitress (or somewhere in between) who would answer to you in the common phrase: “no problem!”
You ask for water they answer ‘No […]

Red Ribbon Chocolate Heaven!!!

Posted: February 27th, 2010 | No Comments »

After staring hopelessly at the TV screen while the commercial went on, I grew restless and hungry for the new Red Ribbon Chocolate Heaven cake.
I love food.
Red ribbon has always been my traditional favorite. Back then my family bringing home a Red Ribbon black forest cake must have indicated a really special occasion. It could’ve […]

On The Red Shoes, Shabu-Shabu and Donuts

Posted: February 25th, 2010 | No Comments »

Thank God It’s Friday! Aside from I have no work on Fridays, it is also the day wherein I am able to meet-up with some of my friends or have some ‘me’ time. Last Friday was extra special because of the following reasons: 1.) I am one of the first to see Unitel Pictures’ The Red Shoes 2.) Late Gloria Maris Shabu-Shabu Dinner 3.) Project52Weeks completion at Krispy Kreme.

Nuffnang Bloggers at the Frontrow

Nuffnang Philippines gave me an exclusive pass to the Media screening of Unitel Pictures’ The Red Shoes. If you are a regular reader of my blog, most probably you’ve seen the advertisement with the faces of Marvin Agustin and Nikki Gil on it. To be honest, I first find the Marvin-Nikki tandem very dull. Maybe it is because I never really pictured them to be a loveteam in a movie or tv series or yeah, the Kapuso-Kapamilya thingy […]

Singapore Formula 1 2010 Early Bird Tickets Price and Password

Posted: February 25th, 2010 | No Comments »

It’s another interesting year for our formula one fans!  There is a growing number of formula 1 fans in the Philippines as well as I have been receiving many emails asking tips and questions and stuff on the Singapore Formula 1 Grand Prix.  So, here’s another blog post to hopefully answer your questions.  If you have any more additional questions feel free to give some love mail.
Looking Back at Singapore 2008 and 2009
I have covered the Singapore Formula 1 event for 2 years already.  My first coverage was the first ever Night Race in the history of Formula 1 and I was there to witness!  Second was interesting for me because I had access to the pit stop! Lucky!!!  Also, I bought a DSLR just for this purpose… I bought a Nikon D40 kit and I bought another 70-300mm G Nikkor lens when I went to Hong Kong […]
