Vanilla Rooibos Full Leaf Tea Latte by Starbucks

Posted: April 25th, 2010 | No Comments »

I would just like to share something I was able to find in my recent photo archives – a photo of my Vanilla Rooibos full-leaf tea latte from Starbucks.
I remember feeling a lazy that night to make my own tea latte and so I decided to buy one of their new tea latte concoctions.
Rooibos, pronounced […]

Six Years of Waiting – High School Yearbook

Posted: April 23rd, 2010 | No Comments »

Last Friday, I met up with some of my Manila-based High School batchmates. It is my first time to see some of them since graduation day. The main agenda of the meet-up? Our HS Yearbook.
Yes, our High School Yearbook! I am not sure if I am authorized to disclose the main reason why it took THAT long before the memorabilia was released, but at least it is now up for grabs, right? The only sad thing there is hindi man lang siya na-bind. Uh oh.

Write-up about me taken from High School Yearbook (2004)

Well, that is not really important IMO. I was looking forward to reading some of the write-ups written by the people behind the yearbook project.
I was surprised upon seeing the alloted page for me. My graduation and casual photo was there. My e-mail address is a combination of my nickname+my celebrity crush. My home address is similar to […]

FIRE ALERT! Edsa Shangri-la Mall Fire Photos – April 23, 2010

Posted: April 23rd, 2010 | No Comments »

Just arrived home from Ortigas/Shaw. After having my laptop fixed at 10PM, I went to Shangri-la Shaw to get a cab easily. Unfortunately, a lot of passengers were waiting too so I decided to go to Starbucks Shang (the one at the ground floor) and occupied one vacant table. I ordered my favorite drink and started writing about my frustrations about my laptop.

A few minutes after, the guard approached me.
“Mam, labas na po muna tayo. Nasusunog yung kabilang establishment pero ‘wag po tayong mag-panic”.

And I didn’t panic. I patiently waited for my laptop to shut down properly then packed my things. A lot of people were already waiting outside and I can see big smoked coming from the other establishment.
I am not really sure if that is the supermarket part or if it is a resto. Since I have my camera with me, I took some photos and yes, i […]

The North Face 100 brings Asia’s 1st Trail Running Ultra Marathon series to Baguio-Benguet

Posted: April 21st, 2010 | No Comments »

Some of my blogger friends are exercising a healthy lifestyle by joining a number of running events for a cause. They are convincing me to join the bandwagon, but I am still thinking about it. I want to have my running gear completed first before I join one

The North Face 100 announced a month ago that they will be bringing Asia’s 1st Trail Running Ultra Marathon series in the Philippines. What really did make my eyes pop is the location: Baguio to Benguet!

Who wouldn’t love to go trail running in a green, clean and cool place like the pride of the North? It is one way to test the endurance and strength of the runners in a very nice venue. The North Face 100 Philippines challenge is set on April 24 and 25. Surely, runners from the North and some Manila-based runners will go to Baguio and support […]

iBlog6: The Philippine Blogging Summit Aftermath

Posted: April 19th, 2010 | No Comments »

For the past years, I’ve been religiously attending the iBlog summits organized by the UP College of Law and Digital Filipino. Unfortunately, I only attended the Saturday afternoon session this year. This means that I missed some of the important talks (blame me for being a sleepyhead T_T)

At least I went still I entered the UP Malcolm Hall at 1:30PM. I saw Gee and Rommel, my PBBFG mates LOL.  I was able to catch Marck Rimorim aka Marocharim talk about Political Blogging in the Philippines. He gave a very nice talk wherein he emphasized on remembering the past, stating the present, planning for the future and going back to the past in writing blog entries related to the different issues in the Philippines.

Let's talk about relevant topics

Though I am not a political blogger and I have no plans of becoming one, I am thinking of applying the same […]
