Gotta Love Christmas at Century Mall!

Posted: January 1st, 1970 | No Comments »

Can I just say, this is my happiest place in Makati? Century Mall just opened this 2014 and ever since, I’ve been going here from time to time. And now that it’s Christmas, they made the mall even happier!

Century City Mall serves up a host of treats to make your Holiday celebration a truly special and memorable one. Head on to the Mall of Modern Makati at the corner of Salamanca St. and Kalayaan Avenue and experience the best shopping and dining destinations in the area that will give you more reasons to #LoveChristmas!

I love how I can go around the mall to shop, and get stuff I need for my work, gadgets, pole outfits. They have grocery, lots of crowd-favorite restaurants, cinema and they even have a new high-end food court type called “Hole in the Wall.” It really is! Because I have not heard of these restaurants, even […]

Jergens 7-Day Challenge, Day 7 Finish Line

Posted: January 1st, 1970 | No Comments »

MISSION #7:THE FINISH LINE
Look for an old full body photo of yourself taken in the last 3 months. Then take a new photo in the exact same pose, this time holding the Jergens variant that you have been using in the past 7 days. Post the photo on your blog.

Here’s an old photo of me. Me and my beach tan, skin needs to be moisturized after bathing in the sun. I love the Jergens Soothing Aloe! It soothes and hydrates the skin, reviving it for visibly more refreshed skin.

I’ve been using this since the first day of the challenge and my skin loves it! It also has illuminating Hydralucence blend and Cucumber Extract and Pure Aloe Vera.

What is your favorite Jergens variant?

Pond’s Flawless White Dewey Rosy Gel Review

Posted: January 1st, 1970 | No Comments »

Pond’s expert whitening is now in a Refreshing Gel! It is infused with Rose Lumiere Serum and goes deep into the skin to lighten dark spots inside and smoothens pores outside. And, that unique gel formulation is easily absorbed, melting into your skin.

For one, I love gels! They are mostly made of water and less oil. It is like soft and easy to apply. You would not feel any thickness in your face!

The New Pond’s Dewy Rose Gel also has a hint of fragrance.

I applied it overnight and it feels good on my skin.

Posted: January 1st, 1970 | No Comments »

MISSION #6: HEALTHY HABITS
A healthy diet is needed to keep your body strong and your skin beautiful. Share with us a family recipe using ingredients that are good for the skin.

I came from Bacolod City, the City of Smiles known for its Masskara festival. Our favorite local dish to prepare at home (especially when I’m sick) is “laswa” (with the accent on “las”).

It is a clear vegetable soup! It’s easy and quick to prepare and is made mostly of greens and just add prawns if you like!

Laswa Recipe
The thing is, I don’t want to spoonfeed you with the ingredients. The way to cook Laswa is really simple and quick. You would just need to estimate the number of vegetables you need to include. Our family would usually cook it with the ingredients that can be found on our backyard. It is very nutritious because it rich in vitamins and minerals plus […]

You have no idea how much I can save just by subscribing to newsletters of my favorite online shopping sites and act on opportunities where they lower their prizes! I also take advantage of free-shipping too. I work for an E-commerce website now and I just want to share some tips on how you can get the best deals in shopping online!

Tips on saving from shopping online
1. Shop on holidays!Websites usually have holiday sales. Airline companies usually announce holiday sales by 12 midnight! I would but an alarm on my phone so that by 12 midnight, I am ready to check flight sales. You can save a lot just by being alert. Cues the song by Madonna, “Holiday, […]
