Daily Top 10 Posts Version 0.7 and Wordcamp Philippines

Posted: June 15th, 2009 | No Comments »

The Daily Top 10 Posts WordPress plugin has been updated and fully tested on WordPress 2.8.
It’s not a major update, but I included a feature that many have been clamoring for — the ability to exclude certain posts or pages from tracking. You will need to edit the file manually. When I find the time you will be able to do this through the admin panel. For now, we’ll have to go manual. To exclude posts, open up the plugin file and edit the line (~99) that reads:
$EXCLUDE = “”;
Between the double quotes, type the ID’s of posts you don’t want to track. You can figure out the ID’s by looking at Posts > Edit.
Your code should look something like this:
$EXCLUDE = “5,7,9,104,110,250”;
Do this ONLY if you want to disable tracking on specific posts. Otherwise, leave the code as is. Disabled posts will […]

My X-Mini Max Twin Capsule Speakers

Posted: June 14th, 2009 | No Comments »

I’d like to share something techy. I just feel like blogging about it and this is definitely not a promotional post. This is just something interesting I want to share.
My day would be incomplete without hearing my favorite music. As much as I want to hear it alone using headphone, sharing my music with my friends would be awesome.

I bought this X-Mini Max Twin capsule speakers 4 months from a Pinoy ebay powerseller. It is portable, very light, and pocket size from the look itself so I did not hesitate to order one.

It costs P1,499 only the time when I bought it. I checked out the item again and it’s now P1,599. I also checked their website at xm-i.com and it costs about $55 or more than P2,500. Wow, nakamura ako. That’s why I prefer buying in ebay because of cheap price compared to SRP (mall price). Take […]

Three Events I Did Not Attend

Posted: June 13th, 2009 | No Comments »

I got four (4) Bronze tickets to The Doll Domination Concert of Pussycat Dolls from Mica courtesy of Unilever. I invited a friend from Laguna to watch the PCD concert but decided not to go because of tardiness, despite that I also need rest and some web jobs to prioritize.

I also did not attend the MySandbox Grand Media Launch at the Bureau where numerous of hot models and guests participated. I regret for not having SkullCandy Headphones giveaway during the launch teehee.

Ako Mismo declared the Ako Mismo Dog Tag Day at the Bonifacio Global City Open Field in Taguig City on June 12, 2009. Each dog tag costs P40. Some people received the email invite in flooded manner.
At first, I’m not aware the my sister went there with her boyfriend, so I immediately text her to buy me a Dog Tag.

Coca Cola’s Pearl Of The Orient

Posted: June 13th, 2009 | No Comments »

Here’s a treasure I found over at You Tube. A vintage Coke infomercial that showcases Coca Cola’s presence in Philippine culture.
This 20-minute video is from 1955 and is entitled Pearl of the Orient. Watching this film made me remember all the field trips to the Coca Cola plants I took in elementary school.
The actual infomercial […]

I am a big Coca Cola drinker. And ever since I became more conscious with my weight, I stopped drinking regular Coke and switched to Coke Light.
Coke Light used to be Diet Coke in the country. It was renamed and rebranded in the mid 90’s and continues to be available in the market along with […]

Waaaaaa! OT at work!

Posted: June 10th, 2009 | No Comments »

Let Your Ears Decide When Buying MP3 Players

Posted: June 9th, 2009 | No Comments »

You are going to buy an MP3 Player, which would you consider: The music quality or the trendy look? I often see people in jeepney, LRT/MRT, streets, malls with earphones. Obviously, listening to music with their MP3 hiding at their pocket, bra, or bag.

Children listening to GoGear MP3 player and mesmerized!
Answering the previous question, since it’s always inside my pocket, I would consider an MP3 with superior sound quality, rather buying a trendy one with sound isn’t that great.

Philips invited bloggers to experience the superior sound quality of GoGear MP3 players, a new sensation MP3 from Philips. They conducted games and raffle prizes, and I got a Philips earphone!

According to Pinoy Popcast, listening to GoGear MP3 Player is one a kind sensation, you’ll feel the freedom thus reducing external noises. The Philips GoGear MP3 Player is a tough choice to beat!
