I want a new Loalde jacket is a post from: Batang Yagit
I have always been a fan of Loalde clothing. Loalde, for those who do not know, is a local clothing company which originated from Cebu City. Loalde’s known for its classy design. It’s a bit expensive as compared to other local brands but definitely […]

I Came I Saw I Conquered Corregidor

Posted: December 11th, 2009 | No Comments »

Last Sunday, I finished my fir sto 10-mile island run in Corregidor.  Signing up for such knee-drilling race was more like suicide for a leisure runner like me. I usually just run 5-10 kilometers on…

Yes, I Folk Danced before – Dancing the Sinalampati

Posted: December 9th, 2009 | No Comments »

I know right!
My grade school and high school life flashed before me! Since I will be out of job soon , I will have more time to do what I love to do best – DANCING! I am born a dancer! and I love music! If you deprive me of these two I’d die!
Anyway, the main reason why my weight in high school remained in the range of 80 lbs to 90 lbs despite the fact that I eat breakfast TWICE and I eat like a guy, is because I dance whenever chance I get! I represented my school before through dance competitions particularly Folk-dancing (hardy-har-har). It doesn’t sound cool but since I went to an all-girl school (St. Scholastica’s Academy – Bacolod) and there were not much guys to flirt with… I dedicated my time to DANCING!

I can’t count anymore the […]

Black Friday Sales madness are over in the US.  We don’t have that however in the Philippines – well not formally.  You will still feel like Black Friday though (a bit) when stores and brands give you the best bargains on Christmas! It’s Christmas season and it’s time to shop shop shop!  For your own if you are selfish but it’s usually the time to shop for other people – you loved ones and people that matter to you.  Of course, if you want to give yourself a gift for a job well done either at school or work then shop for yourself as well!  Shopping is the greatest gift you can give to yourself and you know you deserve it.
Neutrogena actually offers great discounts now when you buy Neutrogena’s Fine Fairness UV Compact and Body Oil.

My Crazy Halloween

Posted: December 6th, 2009 | No Comments »

Better Late than Never!
Right?

October 30 2009
My French Friends invited me to this party at A-venue XD… I think it’s the big Big Fish party… Sadly I had to say that I can’t go with them… That’s because I was not prepared for this Halloween and I didn’t have any “skanky” costume!
My French Friend and I had a quick chat after the event.  She said that good thing I didn’t come because her purse was stolen… They had a bad time at the event… Too bad…

October 31 2009
Kring invited me to this “costume party” at Galileo (Mandaluyong).  How can I say “NO”?  I love Galileo for its vast array of wine (and cheese and cold cuts)!  The ambiance really looks classy and if I were to take a guy on a date – I’d take him here
Anyway… I was in panic mode because as I said above, I had […]

Political Arena: Information for Filipino Voters

Posted: December 5th, 2009 | No Comments »

Politics for me is one big pain in the ass. When I turn on the TV or listen to the news I am filled with bad news, bad news and even more bad news. I hate to listen or read about updates on rallies, protests, corruption, poverty and the like. People attribute it to corruption […]

Fighting Pimples on a Stressful year-end

Posted: December 5th, 2009 | No Comments »

Being a Certified Public Accountant and working as a Financial Analyst for a multinational Bank could really stress the hell out of me… especially when it’s nearing year-end.  Stress is responsible for many skin problems and it includes acne breakout on our lovely delicate skin.  It could either cause our skin to get dry, flaky and itchy or produce yucky excessive oils…

What happens to my skin when I’m stressed

I have a combination skin – On my T-zone it has the tendency to be really oily and on the other parts of my skin, it could get itchy dry.

Pimples… Pimples… Pimples… yes, they pop usually on my T-zone (disgusting!!!) If only it is legal to go on a “sick leave” caused by pimples…  I remember one time I was supposed to have this date… suddenly this huge mountain of horrible unwanted bump on my face grew!!! I had to postpone the […]

Milo 3-in-1 For Adults and Milo TVCs

Posted: December 5th, 2009 | No Comments »

Milo has a new product, well sort of a new product – it’s the Milo 3-in-1 for adults.
Milo 3-in-1 is a complete mix of Milo, milk and sugar specially formulated for adults. Hmmm, sounds like a good alternative to your instant 3-in-1 coffee.
Aside from the milk and sugar, this product has what they call Actigen-E, […]

Last week, I got to meet again 13 of my grade school classmates from Rosario Elementary School. I went there from first to fourth grade, before my family transferred to Paranaque.
It wasn’t really a reunion with glam and all because there were only 14 of us there. But it was …
