Here’s another fact about me: I am a lazy shopper. Unlike most girls who would spend hours looking for a specific clothing or accessories in the mall and still enjoy it, I am the opposite. I may be a mall person, but I usually hangout there with friends in a restaurant or coffee shop. I don’t really spend my time in the department store of shopping stores not unless I really need to.

All I wanted to do was to sit on the beach and relax. It’s been way too long since I had my last vacation. I miss the ocean, the sunset, the sand and the fresh air.
That’s exactly what I needed to do, refresh myself. I needed to refresh my mind, my body and my soul. Little did I know that I would also be refreshing my heart.
It was love at first sight… or first ride. I definitely fell in love with surfing after catching my first wave. From that moment on, it started to become an addiction. Initially, I would come out to the beach once a month just to catch some surf, but the months quickly turned into weeks, and soon the weeks into days. Every beginning has an end. Everything once cherished fades and dies. Everything we fought so hard for, in the end just withers away. This is my farewell blog post to all my avid readers. I don’t want to quit blogging but I need to. My blogging journey will just end anyway, so I’ll end it right now.

Yesterday, there’s sunrise. Tomorrow, there’s another sunrise. At the end of the day, there’s sunset. I don’t know what I’m talking about here right now.
But I’m glad to tell you guys that Micaela Rodriguez, a good friend of mine, just had a successful premiere launch of her 2nd short story film entitled “12th of June” before the 2009 ends.
The story begins as Eloisa Lajara (Jade Lopez) wakes up every morning doing routines such as blogging, twitting, and working as virtual assistant. A very busy woman and doesn’t have time even for herself.
Eloisa accidentally bumped her long time sweetheart.
Two lovers who brought a typical BF-GF chats in the story.
The story brings an shocking twist at the end. The short film is not yet published online, as Mica is currently having negotiation with producers. Watch out!!

Six months ago, I turned one of my short screenplays into a short film. Before the production stage of The 12th of June, I secretly wished that Jade Lopez would agree to give life to the character of Eloisa, who is a virtual assistant who took a one week break from her hectic work at home (nah, she’s not a housemaid, but she works at home). We shot the 22 minute short film in 14 hours. The first part of the post-production somewhat made me feel hesitant to further continue with the whole film. Thanks to those who believed in the story of the film, I was able to complete the whole thing with flying colors.
