Let’s Get Physical with Technology!

Posted: February 9th, 2010 | No Comments »

As some of you might know, I have been running lately.  It’s kind of the “in” thing to do lately.  Which is a good trend because I have noticed a lot of people waking up to the reality that if they don’t exercise, they won’t get any fit at all.
Anyway, I’m back to being a Gadget Candy… I haven’t written a Tech post for the longest time but it doesn’t mean I have divorced myself with my lovely gadgets!
W760io and the features that I love
Back to our topic… The W760i phone has been a darling.  The phone is full of features that I love.  First, it plays awesome music (better sound quality than my iPod if same mp3 song is played and same headphones are used).  The headphones is gnarly nice as well… and the phone’s built-in external speakers are also superb!  The phone is also like a cousin of […]

WhiteMoon Bar at Night

Posted: February 9th, 2010 | No Comments »

A friend of mine celebrated his birthday a couple of weeks ago and I think he picked the best place to hang out and drink in Manila, where else but WhiteMoon Bar.
I’ve been to WhiteMoon Bar many times but it’s usually to chill out during lazy afternoons to watch the sunset. This was my […]

Random Thoughts of a Risk Taker

Posted: February 8th, 2010 | No Comments »

Taking another risk with your consent

“How’s your new project?” lolo asked me when I was reviewing the first draft of my project.
“It’s fine. I’m quite happy with the first draft. I can’t wait to add the other elements to see the final output.” i replied with a happy face.
“That’s good, but can you do me a favor? I hope you’d learn to save up after you finish that project of yours. I know you worked hard for that. Producing something like that can be physically, emotionally and financially draining. I know it’s your money but – ”
(Here we go again)

“I know” i interrupted. “I know I’m spending too much on this, but this is what I really want to do and I am happy seeing my works being appreciated by others… being appreciated by you” i defended trying to hold back my tears.
He simply nodded. He went back to his […]

Send Flowers to the Philippines this Valentines Day with Island Rose

Posted: February 7th, 2010 | No Comments »

It’s FEB-ibig month. What does that mean? It is the month wherein lovers get the chance to show how they love their current partner and be ‘extra’ romantic and expressive even just for a day. It is also a day wherein we let our female friends feel extra special.

Most girls do really appreciate it whenever someone gives them a rose for some reason. I remember my dad sending flowers to my mom, my grandmother and even to his one and only daughter on Valentines Day with flowers straight from Baguio City (he used to work there). To some people, buying flowers in the market or a flower shop can be very stressful (blame the traffic!) or it can also be time-consuming for the busy yuppies.
I recently discovered Island Rose, a website that Deliver Flowers to the Philippines. Yes, you can easily send these fresh flowers to the Philippines in just […]

It’s now almost two months since the time I joined Sinulog 2010. Having enjoyed my brief moment of taking photography to a higher level I suddenly did not have time to do anymore shoots and stuff like that.
Even after Sinulog 2010 Photo contest I still felt the hunger for a little photowalk. I don’t usually […]

Staying at Jupiter Suites Makati

Posted: February 6th, 2010 | No Comments »

The last Saturday of January was pretty tiring yet fulfilling day on my part. Let’s just say that I am working on a very serious project that day. My team and I had to go to San Juan, then to Makati then back to San Juan again. The traffic jam added to the stress and worries of each and every one of us. I’m just lucky that all the crew members were dedicated to their temporary roles that day.

Tired but Happy at Jupiter Suites Makati

At around 4pm, we found ourselves working at Jupiter Suites Makati. It is one of the most-recommended budget hotels in Makati by the bloggers. It is located at the corner of Makati Avenue and Jupiter Suites. We checked the rates of Jupiter Suites and it really suits those who wants to go and stay in Makati without spending too much money.
