McDo Lent Specials

Posted: March 5th, 2010 | No Comments »

Every Friday I have a whole afternoon to myself. Usually I use this time for introspection and relaxation. I might take the time to read a book, an article or even study.
My favorite study place happens to be McDonalds Jones Branch where they are the only branch in Cebu that provides a projector for business […]

Ayala Terraces: Seattle’s Best Pesto

Posted: March 4th, 2010 | No Comments »

One boring Saturday afternoon I just wanted to get away, go far away from the common confines of Ramos street and Jones avenue.
I wanted to be somewhere I am not usually at. I wanted to go to a totally new place and so after constant talking to myself, me and myself concluded that I go […]

PIFAAP Convention 2010 at Sofitel – Conquering Greater Heights

Posted: March 4th, 2010 | No Comments »

Jomar Hilario is one of my mentors in blogging and internet marketing.  I always like hanging out with him because I often learn a lot (not only online and blogging stuff but real life lessons as well).
Jomar was invited to speak at the Philippine Insurance and Financial Advisors Association of the Philippines (PIFAAP).  Vince and I volunteered ourselves to assist him in his talk
The convention’s theme was all about “Conquering Greater Heights.”
Here are the pictures of the event

Clumsy Candy

Posted: March 3rd, 2010 | No Comments »

Wherever I go, I always stumble and fall.
In whatever I do, I have super duper *minor* accidents.
I believe in Guardian Angels.
For if not, I think I would have died because of my clumsiness…
Even if I just walk barefoot, I’d still slip-trip-and-fall…
Sometimes I just don’t know what to do with myself anymore…

I used to get embarrassed all the time…
But now, I just could not count the many instances of my fall…
So I just laugh at myself – apologize to the crowd if they were distracted…
I swear I did not seek your attention…
It was just me – clumsy as usual

So here I am…
Standing Four Feet Eleven…

Yet I still bumped myself into a very sharp edge…
**faints**

… and had a **BUKOL** in my head

a very big one that I burst into tears like a 5-year-old… ahuk… ahuk… ahuk…

It was too painful even for a clumtard like me…
I checked if my brain’s logic […]

Yogurt Shake by Mister Kabab

Posted: March 3rd, 2010 | No Comments »

One of the places I often go to back in college was Mister Kabab. It was a place where me and my friends would often eat after a night of clubbing back then.
And lately, I had the chance to visit their branch at the UP-Ayala Technohub and coming inside, I immediately ordered their Yogurt Shake, […]

Photoblogger’s Planner: Schutzen Planner

Posted: March 3rd, 2010 | No Comments »

Schutzen is the name that marks my planner’s anterior covering.
This was actually a gift from my bestfriend and me being a person who is obsessed with preserving prized possesions went paranoid on how best to use it. I even went to the point of thinking of practicing my writing again so that my handwriting could […]

For The Young and the Old

Posted: March 3rd, 2010 | No Comments »

For today’s topic I want to discuss two things of great concern for the youth and the mature generations.
Let’s start with the HUD Apartments. HUD stands for Housing and Urban Development. It is the Federal Department in the States that concerns in better housing and urban renewal.
With the decrease in real estate values it is […]

I was browsing through my pictures and I realized that I have not uploaded all of the pictures from the 2009 Singapore Formula 1 night race.  Last year, I still had a day job and I was too busy to upload the pictures and blog.  When I was in Singapore, I did not have the liberty to touch my computer and update my blog all the time which is sad but you know why…
Anyway, to those who are going to this year’s Singapore Formula 1 then good […]

Saturday Out of Town Trips with Friends

Posted: March 2nd, 2010 | No Comments »

For the past three consecutive Saturdays, I find myself outside Metro Manila with my close friends. I’ve been to three places – Clark, Tagaytay and Batangas.

The Happy Giant Turtle wants to say 'Hi!'

I went to Clark, Pampanga together with Winston, Erik, Alan and Fritz for the Hot Air Balloon Festival. To be honest, I didn’t really have plans of going weeks prior to that. I was planning to devote that Saturday for the completion of my project. Thanks to Winston for the tempting invitation and the free tickets, I said yes

Spotted Quark and Cristalle Henares

It was a day of shooting giant balloons, watching kites fly, aviation chorva, marquee mall strolling, an hour in a japanese store, quick nap at Kenny Rogers, shooting parazzi pictures of strangers, sleeping in the grass and many, many more! The trip going back to Manila is a big hassle on our […]

WINNER! Share Your DiscOVIries : Food/Dining Places

Posted: March 1st, 2010 | 2 Comments »

Thank you so much to everyone who took time in sending their latest Food and Dining places discOVIries.  We really had a hard time choosing for the short listed entries and now we have a winner!
The winner for the first week of my DiscOVIry contest is Maria Cecilia T. Velasquez! Here’s the winning entry:

Sabins Hotel in Ormoc City is the perfect place to be, not just for their accommodations but also if you just want to spend a lazy afternoon drinking beer, eating pizza, and stuffing yourself with their infamous paella while checking Facebook with their reasonably fast wifi connection and a spectacular view of Ormoc Bay. The sunset in Sabins Hotel is truly beautiful!
My favorite pizza flavors are the Seafood and Supremo which come in super thin crusts. As for the paella, I recommend the Sol Y Mar which has seafood, chicken, and pork. I love working online while […]

Music by Rendezvous

Posted: March 1st, 2010 | No Comments »

I’m always in search for great music.  I am keen in listening to bands and music that are rare and never heard before (here in the Philippines) and share it with friends.  When I was in High School (10 years ago) I had an affection for Koren Pop music… at that time, only a few people in the Philippines appreciate Kpop music.  I think I was the only one and some 3 friends who love Kpop music in our province Bacolod… but if you notice now, the Kpop Fanatics in the Philippines has grown…
When I discover great music, I share… here’s my recent discovery.
Music is food for the soul. And if you’re trying to veer away from junk food, then it’s time you listened to Rendezvous for a healthy and filling audio treat.
Perhaps you haven’t quite heard of Rendezvous yet, but even if you didn’t come across this post, you […]
