The place isn’t really for tourists who wish a comfortable vacation spot in Bolinao. But the place is perfect for avid campers and photographers because of such nice rock view and mad waves of the water.
Such very simple place. No electricity and water faucet, and the toilet doesn’t have door. You need to cover yourself with a big plywood and pray that wind won’t blow it!!
First time using ND8 filter borrowed from Kuya Sherwin Garbo
I went there together with my club members, Marikina Digital Photographers Club. It’s a 12-hour ride from Manila!!
We went there last Maundy Thursday and it’s really hard to find open karinderia with a fast food service, we’re really hungry when we arrived.
The caretakers of the Rock View Beach are very assistive of our needs. Every time our water drums gets empty, they will immediately refill it (by our request) despite […]

This post marks the beginning of a series of Marinduque articles where I spent my Holy Week this year. And let me start by showing you some paparazzi shots from the Port of Lucena in the province of Quezon.
We arrived there around 2:00 AM, Maundy Thursday and as expected, hundreds of people are already there […]

This is the last installment of my Holy Week 2010 in Dagupan City series. Nothing much happened in the morning because I woke up at lunch time Special thanks to Star Plaza Hotel’s information desk person for calling me up and asking me if I will extend my stay or what. Do I have a choice?
Mam, mag-eextend pa po ba kayo?
After entertaining her call, I went back to sleep I woke up at around 1PM, took a bath and went online to do my usual social networking habits. I wanted to eat outside, but my cousins and friends were busy minding their own business (Mica, it’s Black Saturday T_T) I had to sacrifice. I ended up ordering something from the hotel’s restaurant and ate at my room.
What did I do the whole afternoon then? Well, I tried to work on a certain screenplay, but errr… i […]

And I miss you badly.
If there’s one thing that can comfort me today, it would be the thought that we can still be together.

His name is Pfut Pfut and he loves to squirt water out of his small beak. And yes, he’s a penguin.
I got him from McDonalds, McKinley Hill. He’s cute, isn’t he? Now I have another thing that won’t leave me.

I woke up late the next morning. Being the lazy head that I am, I didn’t stand up during the wake-up call. I ended up extending my stay in the hotel though my cousin already offered that i can stay in their house. Didn’t go with Maire and her friends to Baguio just because I woke up late.
Twitting, Plurking, Chatting, Face-Buking
No regrets though. Sleep is a luxury for me I woke up at 11:30AM and tried to write for a special project. I went to the restaurant for my lunch and I ate Fish Fillet with Sweet and Corn Sauce.

Instead of going out of meeting up with some friends, I decided to watch Liberace-related videos. You have to blame Lady Gaga’s song for my sudden interest in Liberace’s Life.
At around 4:30PM, I forced myself to get up and walk around with my […]

Last Wednesday night, I decided the last minute that I will go to Dagupan City, my hometown and spend my Holy Week break there. My grandparents went to Naga for a family reunion and my usual companions went to different provinces.
Hotel Victoria and Pantal River view from my hotel room
I didn’t like the idea that I’ll be stuck here in Manila alone and I felt like i needed to go outside of the Metro in order for me to be inspired to write a screenplay. After chatting with my college friends through Facebook, I decided to pack my things and ride a bus to Pangasinan.
And it was one hella ride.
The bus bound for Dagupan left the station at 5:30AM. As expected, a lot of people were trying their luck to ride in the bus earlier. I went straight to the ticket station, but the person in-charge instructed me na harangin […]

Today is Easter Sunday. I bet most of my readers are sleeping as I type this entry at 3AM. I’m not yet sure if i’ll be taking the 3:30 AM bus trip to Manila or the 4AM or 5 or 6. I blame my work schedule on why I have to leave Dagupan City on a Sunday.
Guess who spent 15 years of her life living in that penthouse?
See, i had no plans of going back here in Dagupan last week. I decided five hours before I left Manila that I will be spending my Holy Week break in a nice hotel in the Bangus City. It was my dream since I was a kid that at least I try to stay here even just for one night and now it feels good that I finally fulfilled that plan of mine.
Most of my Dagupan-based friends asked me why I didn’t go […]
