StreetDance 3D in Gateway Cinema

Posted: July 14th, 2010 | No Comments »

Last Sunday, Boiffie and I watched StreetDance 3D in Gateway. Yes I was supposed to finish my problem set in Advanced Algo that time but but but *roll eyes*. So while I was draining my brain to solve algo-and-stat-related problems, I asked the Boiffie to buy movie tickets. I stayed in Starbucks Gateway for a […]

Reminiscing Our First Trip to Puerto Princesa

Posted: July 14th, 2010 | No Comments »

Four months ago, Ada, Jenny and I went to Puerto Princesa, Palawan for a 4D/3N vacation. We booked the flight as early as November 2009 because we wanted to take advantage of the promo. Maire booked too, but her work schedule didn’t permit her to go

Golden Island Senyorita Life in a Duyan

So the three of us went there without concrete plans at all. I can say that among my trips, this is the first time ever wherein we only booked for a hotel room hours before our flight, we didn’t have any itinerary (all we know is that the Underground River is located there LOL!) and we simply want it to be spontaneous. No plans, no whatevers.

Our blogger friends recommended that we book a hotel room in Casa Leticia Inn (which btw is owned by actor Matthew Mendoza of the […]

Malabago Beach Resort in Asturias

Posted: July 14th, 2010 | No Comments »

One of the places my family usually goes to is the beach in Asturias Balamban: Malabago Beach Resort. The beach is just two hours ride from our place. You can pass by the Trancentral Highway to get there. The only public transportation that can get you there safely is the V-hire. I don’t recommend getting there […]

For those health conscious people who are asking “where to buy organic vegetables in Philippines/Cebu?“, this will be an interesting update for you. Mactan Hilton Resort (revisited)

Posted: July 12th, 2010 | No Comments »

My family had the chance to check in for one night in the Mactan Hilton Resort. I’ve reviewed this place before in my Mactan Hilton Experience back in my blogspot days. I always tell my friends that the rooms in Hilton are so good that you don’t want to go out. Now this time I […]

If you’re a milk tea lover like me, then I’m sure you’ve been to Kopi Roti. But not many people know that there’s another drink there that’s not usually on the menu which I totally love – the Milo Dinosaur! Singaporeans love Milo and it’s no wonder that Kopi Roti, which originally came from Singapore, […]

GANAP NA BABAE: A Film for Women by Women

Posted: July 12th, 2010 | No Comments »

Cinemalaya Week! It is the season wherein independent filmmakers and supporters are united to watch some of the best Pinoy movies produced within the year. Now on its sixth year, Cinemalaya offers new categories that will surely make every moviegoer confused on which film to watch first.

Mercedes Cabral is 'smoking hot' in Ganap na Babae's 'Minsan May Isang Puta' segment

The opening night happened last July 9, 2010 at the Cultural Center of the Philippines. Being a part of the print media (in a way LOL) has its perks, and I was able to get a pass from the Pinoy Parazzi office. I arrived in the venue at 7pm and was able to catch the trailers of the different movies competing at the New Breed, Shorts and Director’s Showcase category. The directors of the films featured this year were also introduced, and a lot of people were interested with the different […]

Elsalvador Beach is one of the more affordable beaches in Cebu. Cebu is quite popular for its beaches and I guess the need for those who are aiming for budget barkada trips is starting to grow. An hour plus ride away from the main City of Cebu, Danao’s Elsalvador Beach Resort is a nice place […]

This post is definitely long overdue. During the summer I was able to go to the Legazpi Sunday Market in Legazpi Village in Makati. Along with me was the Pinoy Lakwatsero and Kuya Erik, both of them were from around Makati. The Legazpi Sunday Market showcases a large variety of products from food down to clothes and other objects for sale. […]
