It’s Holy Week and fortunately, all of us can get some good rest. Unfortunately though, our usual forms of recreation such as dining and shopping are not available as most malls and establishments are closed.
Technically, Bonifacio High Street is almost ALWAYS open even on Maundy Thursday and Black Friday. At this time, this place is CROWDED! with dogs, kids and everything. This place is alive during the holy week so this should be your first stop if you want to go out of your house. NOTE, that not all establishments will be open. Only select restaurants.
This covers only schedule in Manila and not the schedule of malls during holy week in the provinces. Usually, everything is closed in the provinces, so you need to do your grocery by Wednesday and cook home.
Here is the schedule of Ayala Malls and SM Malls.
April 18, 2011 Monday NORMAL SCHEDULE 10am to 9pm […]

Here is the result of the Chinese Grand Prix 2011. It was a fairly dramatic race as expected. Sebastian Vettel didn’t get his 5-in-a-row when Lewis Hamilton beat him to first place on the Chinese Grand Prix. Sebastian Vettel however had KERS and radio problems.
The Ferraris still have a few problems with their car. Meanwhile, the next race will be the Turkish Grand Prix at the Istanbul Park on May 6-8th.

I studied Accountancy in College and we focused more on clerical book keeping, computing and analyzing Financial Statements. We never got to learn or at least focus on the business side of things.
How to Plan and start a Business?
That was one of the questions I always ask myself. I always have “aha†moments when I think of some ideas for a new business. My problem is – how to start one? Especially here in the Philippines where filing anything is complicated and takes time >.<
And so, I browsed online for companies offering short courses on businesses and I found the Business Coach Philippines offers a wide range of short courses or seminars depending on the business you have in mind.
I have different businesses in mind myself so I asked them if they have a general “How to Plan and Start a Businessâ€

I remembered the time I donated my CPA review scholarship to someone who can’t afford it – a year after, he fulfilled his dream of becoming a CPA helping someone to fulfill a dream is priceless!
A friend is celebrating his blog’s 5th year anniversary. You know him online as Batang Yagit. But he’s richer than most of us. He has a rich heart! He will celebrate by raising funds to Zamboanga Funds for Little Kids.
I helped by chipping in a little something via Paypal hoping these kids will have more tools for their education. They are the future and I believe that helping them get the proper education will change the world.
If you too want to help, just visit this link to read more details.

Samsung just launched their new Samsung Smart TV at Seventh High last April 7, 2011. From the airport, I went straight to this event that I didn’t want to miss.
Launched as a first-peek to Philippine Bloggers, the Samsung Smart TV guarantees to change the way you look at television and home entertainment forever. Beyond the current market’s offering of Internet TV, the new Samsung Smart TV boasts of a unique intelligence where content is suggested based on your viewing behavior which what separates it from competition.
My first impression of the Samsung Smart TV – It looked like a GIANT Samsung TAB!
How else is it Smart-er? The new Samsung Smart TV creates an avenue to enjoy web applications – via Smart Hub – into the only shared screen left in the household – the Television. Moreover, it boasts of its powerful features with SocialTV – a function where one […]

This place is located behind the Casa Patricia in Brgy. Masalukot, Candelaria Quezon. Locals said it used be a mansion but got burned down. We were told to visit Candelaria’s Municipal Hall to know the real story about the tower, but it was Sunday. The history of this tower remains a mystery to me. My […]

First of all, I would like to thank Ayala Malls for making this possible!
As part of Ayala Mall’s “Style Origin†events from Feb to May, they invited over Fashion Photographer Nigel Barker and Runway Coach Miss J over at Ayala Malls.
They will be in 3 malls, in 3 days. Day 1 just finished If you want a chance to meet them too, read further
Host was Bianca Valerio and she did a great job
I have been observing how she hosts the entire night because I host events too. I learned from her. She has a guide with her but she barely looks at it. She even read the books of Nigel and Miss J beforehand just so that she can ask more relevant questions and follow-up from it.

It was an inspiring night for me I’ve followed ANTM throughout […]

So, one day, I received this package at home and my younger sister thought it was PIZZA!
Served Fresh, Hot and FAST!
But surprise! It’s the new Beach Hut sunblock lotion with SPF 100!!! OMG
I know there were lots of bloggers who already blogged about this, but I had to take it with me to Boracay on a test run!
Last weekend, I was sent to Boracay to cover the Boracay Open Ultimate Frisbee.
My role: photographer / sports journalist (for my own blog )
(Yes, for my blog, I can be whatever title I want me to be)
Super cute content! They included two products: Beach Hut 100 spf lotion for the body and the Beach Hut spf 65 for the face.
Just some cutie they included – underwater camera! I haven’t tried this though…
My notes:
– not sticky
– it is moisturizing
– lotion wasn’t as thick as I though it would be (100spf […]

He left the Philippines when he was about to turn thirteen years old. Today, he is celebrating his 16th birthday. I used to carry him at my back. Now, he is taller than me.
My dear Carlo Boy
Although i didn’t witness his transformation into a teenager, it is no question that my brother Carlo will always be a baby to me My stay in the United Kingdom with him, my mom, Ate Virgie and the rest of the people I met taught me a lot of life lessons. Carlo’s biggest gift to me is his smile and sincerity. He may lack speaking skills, but he truly knows how to show his love to the people who matters to him.
