Over the past decade, Macau has been dominating the headlines in the casino industry as it has overtaken Las Vegas, as gambling’s mecca. However, it now appears that a new challenger may be rising as the Philippines is currently working on four casino projects that could propel them to #2 in the world in gambling […]

I’ve always thought to myself how lucky bloggers in Luzon are having the opportunity to join several events out there. Though I’m not exactly an events blogger, I am one who craves for something new. Well lo and behold I get an email talking about Nuffies coming to Cebu! This is definitely an opportunity I […]

Have you visited Soderno @ Molito already? If not, then I hope you find time soon because it’s really a good place to hangout during weekends, specially if you’re on a food trip with friends in Metro South. Last time I wrote about the thirsty finds at Soderno, I failed to include a milk tea […]

2 years ago, the country’s biggest telecommunications provider announced the launching of its hybrid landline unit called Telpad. I admit I was not that impressed. I obviously did not jump into the bandwagon for a number of reasons. But recently, a close encounter with a live Telpad made me reconsider my stand, which, by the way, explains why I am writing this review. I am writing this entry because, as most tech geek does, I want to do my own “unveiling†of the PLDT Telpad. (Never mind that it is a year late. As they always say “it’s better late than neverâ€.) Before I go down to the good stuff, allow me to explain why I initially gave my “pass†card on the Telpad. First, it seems impractical and pretentious. Well, everyone knows that I love gadgets. I love them sleek and sophisticated but I also love […]

I has been a while since I last went to Boracay and that last time was for a telco project. The irony, who would have thought that almost a year later, I’ll be coming back to the island for another telco project, only this time I can call it my “own”. While in the island, […]

Here’s one thing you can look forward to this summer!
Be dazzled by Cirque Mother (Circus Mama) Africa when it rolls into town on April 19th – 22nd presented by Establish Events in cooperation with Media Central.
Philippine audiences are familiar with Cirque Du Soleil but this time, they will be challenged and mesmerized by the sights and sounds of Africa. This innovative two hour show, which combines African music, dance and performance, pulsates with the heartbeat of Africa and the combined talents of 40 artists from nine African countries, including Ethiopia, South Africa, Kenya, Tanzania, Ivory Coast, Benin, Zimbabwe, and Guinea.
It’s a show that’s unlike any other. And while some of my friends travel to watch different places worldwide, you don’t have to spend that much to experience this because […]

This has got to be one of the more classier cafeterias that I’ve been to in the Philippines. Wings and Dips offers a unique variety of a dominantly themed dish composed of: Wings and dips. You choose your wings and also your dips. But then again this cafeteria is more than just your usual chicken […]

One of the interesting places we got to eat in is actually a franchise. Pixie’s grill is not just any franchise, it’s a franchise that specializes in the Valencia family’s top produce: the Boneless Bangus. Having been a heavy Bangus (Chanos chanos) consumer when I was a kid i was quite excited to eat their […]
