Posted: October 23rd, 2012 | No Comments »

I’ve been to different parts of the country which involves a lot of island hopping, Hundred islands, Zambales, Palawan, Guimaras, and Davao to name a few. I’ve also suffered several frustrations during island hopping from being unprepared to bring important things when doing such activity. From there, I needed to figure out how to avoid […]

Nepal is a great place to be at.  Whether you’re looking for an adventure, retreat, discovering a new place and it’s people, a photogenic landscape you can capture, explore your inner being and know about a great culture, then Nepal is definitely a place you need to visit!
Pokhara is one of the towns in Nepal.  It is the second destination of tourists after Kathmandu.  There are many ways you can go to Pokhara from Kathmandu, which I listed out on my previous post here.
We flew from Kathmandu to Pokhara and right where we landed, it has that feel of “Boracay” in Nepal.  Of course, Nepal is land-locked and it doesn’t have any ocean or sea surrounding it.  It has lakes, waterfalls and rivers though.  Beside Phewa Lake (Fewa Lake).  Beside the […]

Air Travel: Still the Fastest and Safest Way to get to your Holidays

Elaborately planned holidays or last minute business trips, air travel is still the fastest way to reach a specific destination and despite being the most expensive, the demand for air tickets rarely seem to go down. Life is like a box of chocolates

Posted: October 16th, 2012 | No Comments »

According to the soft-spoken manchild Forrest Gump, “life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you’re gonna get”. Indeed, life is full of surprises as we often hear one too many cases were the tides of life turns in just a snap of the finger—a healthy young man suddenly turns feeble and dysfunctional the next day. An attractive lady, famous for her impeccable looks, lost her beauty overnight in a bad accident. Life is unpredictable and uncertain and that is why it is important for us to be resilient and to have a contingency plan, especially in our finances. The International Marketing Group Wealth Academy, or IMG Wealth Academy for short, offers just this—a contingency plan in life. The IMG, a marketing company dedicated to help and serve people in making critical financial decisions in life, aims to increase the financial literacy of every Filipinos […]

There are different kinds of transportation from Kathmandu to Pokhara and back.  Depending on which mode of transportation you pick, it will definitely be an experience.
For the different transportations, feel free to book them on your own but for hassle-free, safe and convenient booking do it through a trusted and registered travel agency.  This will make sure you don’t waste precious time while in Nepal and have the agency take care of logistics for you.
Again, I would recommend Himalayan Encounters travel agency. I don’t gain any commission promoting them, I just had a great experience with them and I felt safe and at ease. Also, they have offices in different parts of Nepal. Plus, they are environment conscious and practice eco-socio-tourism   That just means they take care of the […]
