I saw this in my draft list and I can’t remember where I got this. But anyway, I’m re-posting it. Hope you learn something from it to help you write effectively.
Avoid alliteration. Always.
Prepositions are not words to end sentences with.
Avoid cliches like the plague. (They’re old hat.)
