If you don’t know yet, I sometimes drink KFC’s gravy – yeah, that’s one of my many eccentricities. And perhaps that’s one of the reasons why I got the opportunity to taste KFC’s latest chicken variant – the KFC Chili Lime. Now, you have three choices when you go to KFC – the Original Recipe, […]

Two years ago, I met a Camille Prats look-alike at the afterparty of Wordcamp PH 2008. A common friend introduced me to her and i originally thought she’s one of the representatives of Nuffnang Philippines, which was about to launch in the country. I later on found out that she is friends with a number of Malaysian bloggers that’s why she knows some details about Nuffnang.
Micamyx and Flaircandy in Singapore (October 2009)
To be honest, I was a bit intimidated when I first saw her. She’s young, pretty, works in an international bank, she can drive cars (and men like crazy LOL), she’s updated with the latest gadgets, she’s sporty and she can sing and dance. Who wouldn’t be intimidated with this charmer, eh?!

Juxtapose and Bangus Ink, two newly-formed groups in Dagupan City recently organized an event called ‘Proud to be Dagupeno’. It is basically a rave party and outdoor photoshoot event. The organizers composed of young and talented Dagupenos aim to promote our city’s tourism by launching cool events such as this one.
Ready?
Like what I mentioned on my previous blog post prior to the event, I went there mainly to support my friends. I am also curious to see if they can surpass such challenge (majority of the group members are younger than me). Together with a fellow Pangasinan blogger Josh Uy, I went to Venu Bar that Saturday night to witness this event.

We arrived at the venue and I saw familiar faces. There’s Alain, who was in-charge of the tickets at the main entrance. Then I saw Stephen Munoz taking pictures and talking to some of the […]

“Mirror mirror on the wall, whose the fairest of them all.†In case you are wondering If I have been watching too much Disney cartoons lately the answer is no. I just borrowed a line from the wicked witch to illustrate a common dilemma encountered by many internet users, the ever-lasting question which Broadband internet access provider offers the best deal in town.
Well, like you, I have thought about this for a long time and I have to say the question is not as simple as it seems because each broadband internet access provider has its own up and down points. And of course the question is straight-forwardly stated, as every astute user know that examining your internet connection needs is key to finding the best one. So, I guess the question should have been “mirror mirror on the wall, which broadband internet access provider is the right one for […]

If you love eating seafood and you find yourself in General Santos City, then you should definitely visit Red Trellis Seafood Garden – I can vouch that it’s one of the must-eat places in the city. And I think, it’s the only place in the city where you can order a strawberry slushie. Ice cold, […]

I was back in Bacolod last week for the MassKara Festival 2010 and of course, for more thirsty adventures. One of them, a trip back to 21 Restaurant and this time, I took the chef’s recommendation and ordered their Buko Lychee fruit shake. This was served in a very tall glass, and topped with lychee […]

The second day of our Thunderbird Resorts Poro Point experience is a  hectic one. We were able to have a mini tour within the resort, the rest of the gang were able to surf in San Juan, had a quick La Union tour and the main event – The Point Residences Official Launch.
I'm like a bird… a Thunderbird LOL
I woke up at around 7:30AM – and that’s already late! Instead of going straight to the breakfast buffet, I ended up surfing the net while I’m in bed Ruby and I went to the lobby by 8AM to meet up with the other bloggers. The marketing staff of Thunderbird Resorts gave us a quick tour while we’re riding at the golf carts.
Let the pictures show how wonderful the place is!

One of the things that I noticed about Region 1 is the lack of boost when it comes to Tourism. Being a resident of Dagupan City, Pangasinan for more than twenty years, I am more than happy when I heard that a five-star resort is being developed in Poro Point, San Fernando, La Union and yep, it’s Thunderbird Resorts Poro Point!
I'm ready to stay here for 3D/2N in the Santorini-inspired Thunderbird Resorts Poro Point.
Together travel bloggers and writers, I was able to experience how it feels like to stay in Thunderbird Resorts Poro Point for 3 Days and 2 Nights. Finally, a world-class resort in Ilocos Region!
San Fernando, La Union is just an hour and a half away from Dagupan City (at least 5-6 hours from Manila). From Manila, the group took a flight to San Fernando, La Union via ZestAir. The trip was 45 minutes long and it was […]

I’m currently blogging live from Dagupan City, my beloved hometown. I went here at my original home mainly for an event organized by some people really close to me during the days when I was still a struggling student LOL.
I am PROUD… Are You?
On Saturday, a newly-organized group called ‘Juxtapose’ will be having their first event called ‘Proud to be Dagupeño: Rave Party and Photoshoot for a Cause’. It is a collaboration of photographers, make-up artists, stylists and event organizers who wishes to promote Dagupan City’s tourism through cool events such as this one. This is their first venture and I am quite excited for them!
Most probably you’re wondering why I took the effort to go here for a single party. Let me share why…
