Bo’s Coffee is a Filipino owned coffee shop which originates from Cebu. Their very first branch was in Ayala Center Cebu back in 1996.
Interestingly, I remember drinking there back in 1998 when I had the opportunity to visit the region. And more than a decade after, you can see that they’ve really grown – with […]

I don’t think my outfit is ready for the battlefield… If I’d go to war now, I would be the first one dead…
At least I would die pretty ^_^

I am a Canon user.
Digital SLRs are a fast growing popular gadget here in the Philippines but when after the fun of shooting we sometimes end up with a dislodged lens, broken camera, or a malfunctioning camera software. So where is the camera repair in Cebu. Where is the camera service center center in Cebu?
Canon […]

I grew up in a family where we speak two dialects and two formal languages.
Coming from a Filipino Chinese family we mix our conversations with words from Bisaya and Fookien. And as part of mom’s plan to educate us at home we speak English. Sometimes when my sister feels like adding drama to our house […]

Today is just the perfect day for a colorful adventure! It’s Valentine’s day and Chinese New Year at the same time! To add up to the flavour, The last day of the 15th Annual Hot Air Balloon Festival 2010 happens today!
Vince and I packed our gears at around 2am. We have to thank Sony for lending us a very powerful video camera – the Sony Handycam HDR-XR520, and Marquee Mall /Ayala Malls for the Passes!
I drove from the house to Clark while the monkey sleeps… (‘coz I know it’s harder to drive on our way back home kekeke)… It took us only about an hour and a half (including Restroom breaks and snacks). No traffic at this time! We arrived at the grounds at 4:30. We got hungry again so we ate at the kiosks around… The sun wasn’t still up and the whole area is still covered with […]

I would like to take this opportunity to greet my online friend turned barkada Maria Kristina De Guzman Eduardo a.k.a. Maki a happy, happy birthday!
Just last year, Maki and the rest of the Nyokers got closer. I assume that the regular readers of her blog are aware of the fact that the year 2009 served as one of the most challenging years of her life. She is like a passenger in a rollercoaster ride – she can be very, very scared and angry. Later on, she is in her happiest mood.
Someone just turned 23 today!
Being Maki’s friend is not easy (LOLOLOL I kid ). She can be unpredictable at times, but we understand her. Just late last year, she followed in Cebu and later on stayed on her own to take pictures and spend some ‘me’ time. When she got back, she wanted to do something relevant in her […]

During Sinulog week I found it the safest and the best time to go to two famous tourist spots in Cebu. These are Basilica del Sto. Niño and The Magellan’s Cross.
Basilica del Sto. Niño
The Basilica del Sto. Niño was founded on April 28, 1565 and was made merely with wood, nipa and earth. Later on […]

It’s almost Valentine’s Day and if you’re a Red Ribbon cake lover, then I’m sure you’ll enjoy their latest offerings this season.
First the Roses and Kisses cake, which is a chocolate pound cake with chocolate chip filling. It’s topped with beautiful sugar roses and creamy Hershey’s Milk Chocolate Kisses. Yum!
Another one, which I like better, […]

For the first time, the Philippines’ Queen of Bossa Nova Sitti Navarro and the Queen of Acoustic Pop Juris Fernandez joined forces for a very special pre-Valentine show at Metrobar West Avenue last Wednesday, February 10.
The Queen of Bossa Nova and Queen of Acoustic Pop Back to Back
I originally planned to watch the said show with my high school buddies. Unfortunately, all of them backed out the last minute due to the stress they earned from work that day (boo!). Since I don’t want to waste the complimentary tickets I got from my Pinoy Parazzi family, I tried my luck inviting some of my blogger friends. Hannah, Vince and Carl immediately said yes to my impromptu invitation yey
We arrived at around 10:00pm and we found Sitti performing her hits onstage already. It is my first time to see her perform live and I can attest to the testimonials […]
