Reliable Memory Storage

Posted: April 25th, 2009 | No Comments »

With the introduction and gaining popularity of memory sticks as an alternative storage method, there have been various manufacturers that have attempted to capitalize on the demand by flooding the computer market with sub-standard products.  Since memory sticks serve as storage facilities for vital data, it is important to look not only for cost effective types but also those which have built a reputation for dependability to ensure that all stored data are protected and can be recovered safely.  For the best memory sticks in the market, The Memory Suppliers is a good place to visit.

Fast Facts About Cervical Cancer:
Cervical cancer is the second most common cancer in women worldwide, with 500,000 new cases and 250,000 deaths reported each year. Over 80% of cases occur in developing countries including the Philippines, where it is ranked as the second most common cancer afflicting Filipino women. Yet few women realize that cervical cancer is actually treatable if diagnosed early.

Preventing Cervical Cancer through the Single Visit Approach (SVA), Cryotherapy and Vaccination:
One of the primary goals of Cervical Cancer Prevention Network (CECAP) is to fund cervical cancer screenings throughout the Philippines by using the Single Visit Approach (SVA) and on-the-spot treatment through cryotherapy.
SVA: The SVA combines both screening and treatment in one session. It uses an effective, low-resource screening method called the Visual Inspection […]

iBlog5: The Philippine Blogging Summit

Posted: April 21st, 2009 | No Comments »

Yesterday, I scanned through my i.PH blog and read some of the entries I wrote way back in April 2007. It is the month when I went to Manila from Dagupan for two reasons: My On-the-Job training at SVI and iBlog3.
As a newbie to blog events, I was really excited to the fact that I am going to UP and learn more about blogging. I learned that a blogger can actually venture into different niches and even earn money from it. The fact that I’ll be meeting some of the authors of the blogs I’m reading added to the excitement of the Dagupena dreamer.

At iBlog3, I was with Gee, one of the bloggers I met thru a game we were in years ago. I met my cyber mom in the persona of Tita Dine. It was also in that summit where I met Cai and Louis, two of my closest friends […]

Chinese Grand Prix results

Posted: April 19th, 2009 | No Comments »

Sadly, I wasn’t able to watch the race because I was in another weekend getaway. Still, when I saw the results I can’t help but feel sad again for the mishaps of the Ferraris. Many Ferrari fans are saying, “There’s no way but up.” I hope it would come to a truth because honestly, them not scoring for three consecutive races is bothersome!
This Shanghai GP goes to RBR – Renault and congratulations to the team for both having the 1st and 2nd place at this circuit.
Here are the results of the Formula 1 Shanghai (Chinese) Grand Prix 2009:

Childhood Flavors

What flavor are you when you were a kid?
When I was a younger, my Grandma used to run a small sari-sari store beside our house in the province. Every afternoon, my bro and I would sneak in to grab some goodies from my Lola’s candy jars. Among my favorites are Tarzan, Big Boy, Bazooka, Mighty […]

Trip to Marikina City

Posted: April 18th, 2009 | No Comments »

Marikina City is tagged as the Shoe Capital of the Philippines. I remember passing by the place way back when I was in high school since it is a part of our itinerary during our field trip and the “biggest shoe in the world” was all over the papers during that time.

Marikina Plurkfiesta

Last week, Kuya Jay invited us to his hometown. I met up with Kuya Drew, Ate Aileen and Miguel at Gateway. Our trip on our way to Marikina was full of laughter and hELLuR pOwhz. We went to Pan de Amerikana and met up with Kuya Jay. The food is cheap and the place is really nice. There’s this life-size chess board and hanging bridge. It was my first time to finally talk to Kuya Migs. Later on, Kuya Marc and Ate Gail arrived.

Remembering BlueWater Day Spa at Capitol Hills

Posted: April 17th, 2009 | No Comments »

Last last month, I was one of the lucky winners to meet and greet with Marian Rivera and Piolo Pascual at the BlueWater Day Spa Capitol Hills for it’s grand opening. The location is near the golf course and commercial building with outstanding view of green surroundings and fresh air from the outside. We were given the chance to tour inside the BlueWater Day Spa Capitol Hills branch and the aura is perfect for relaxation.
The refreshing surroundings of BlueWater Day Spa at Capitol Hills.

Though we went there near afternoon, the breeze is cool due to lots of trees and grass.

I love to go back there and finally experience their services. My two-month training as a nurse is finally over!! Foot relaxation is my target since we nurses don’t sit for 8 hours! So I would bring my friends and try their Spa Package the Spa Indulgence worth (Php 1,000.00) which […]

Cebu Pacific: The Cheapest and Most Unsecured Airline Company!

Posted: April 15th, 2009 | No Comments »

Got time to spare? Why not board a Cebu Pacific Flight and enjoy the long waiting time. Cebu Pacific’s legendary flight delay promos — Flight 5J 965, Manila to Davao, delayed once, delayed twice, and delayed thrice. Flight 5J 972, Davao to Manila, delayed for 3 hours. Now , i need not to elaborate more on their flight delay promos because you have to experience it yourself to fully appreciate it.

What I want to share with you here is my unforgettable adventure with their bonus surprise feature on the Arrival Department. 4:50 PM Manila time, 5J972 was scheduled to depart but for some reason it was moved to 7:40 PM. For two straight hours all of us clueless passengers waited earnestly for the ‘go’ signal for boarding while the staffs and crews kept their mouth shut. At 7:00PM, it was finally announced that the flight schedule was moved to […]
