Many good things have already been said about Crepelato. And I’m not surprised because, honestly – who would say anything bad to homemade fat-free gelato, right? Crepelato was one of our stops during the Davao Food Appreciation Tour 2011 and it’s a definite must-try place for your sweet cravings in the city. Their cozy and […]

Do you know how lucky we are to be living in the Philippines? I honestly can’t imagine myself growing up in some other place. It has been my home for many years and I quite enjoy the bountiful natural gifts we have in our country I am up for any adventure but I must say, I think I was a mermaid in my past life.
I am not really a diver (claustrophobic and ear problems), but I love being in the ocean. I guess you can say free diving would be more of my thing. Best thing about the ocean is – it’s free! It’s just there, waiting to be enjoyed by everyone
And in the Philippines, we are quite lucky to have some of the world’s best diving spots and surf spots! I envy some of my diver friends and how they can see the beautiful bed […]

As the country commemorates Dr. Jose Rizal’s 150th birthday on June 19, BlackBerry smartphone users can take advantage of free and paid apps available from BlackBerry App World to celebrate his life and contribution to our freedom and national identity.
Here are five ideas on how you can personalize your BlackBerry to show some Philippine pride and pay tribute to our national hero. Simply visit the links or scan the QR codes below.
Enliven your BlackBerry with a Philippine theme
This distinctly Filipino theme puts the flag’s colors into one’s BlackBerry smartphone. The battery and signal bar are replaced with stars, while the volume and the message indicator were changed to the Philippine sun. Instead of the usual hourglass, BlackBerry users will see the waving Philippine flag as a waiting indicator.
To get this theme, please visit http://appworld.blackberry.com/webstore/content/reviews/18936?lang=en

Hello music lovers!
I constantly blog about songs and their meaning and how it affects me. It’s about time I share something about our very own local music with Yeng Constantino and Pedicab. They just did a super cool awesome mash-up together of both their songs “Jeepney Love Story” by Yeng “FX” by Pedicab. Oh yes, the local automobiles that are part of our daily lives. Don’t you think they are meant to do this mash-up?
I am telling you… before they actually performed the mash-up, I tried to listen to both songs and I tried to play the mash-up in my mind… and I couldn’t make it work!!! That is why I am not a musician at all… But after I heard their mash-up – DUDE!!! It’s super awesome how they changed things just right to make everything collaborate! So check it out at the bottom of this page for the […]

When I travel, I don’t want to risk getting uncomfortable – especially my feet because you get to walk a lot when you’re traveling. So far, I’ve had Crocs, Uggs and now a new addition to my travel collection – Sanuks!
They are not shoes! They are sandals! I haven’t road tested it yet, but we’ll see soon!

Dear readers,
Since I am already in my mid 20s (let’s not be specific), I have been obsessed in staying young! I can feel many changes since I was 18, and mind you, the earlier you start in taking care of your body, the better. I’m talking not only about the food you eat, the lifestyle you live, but also that one protective layer of skin that covers your body.
For me, the number one factor in keeping your skin soft and supple is not to dry it!
On my first date ever, I was so conscious of my hands… What if he touches my hand? it felt so rough at that time! I felt like an old witch and not Snow White! Then and there, I know I had to keep on paying attention to my skin! I buy lotions left and right, but the trickier part is the skin on my […]

Girl Power at its best!
In the heavily male dominated DJ market, it is rare to find a female DJ who can create a huge impact on the scene in a short amount of time. Miss Nine has not only been able to outshine and make her presence known in such a world, but she has done so all within five years of picking up a record. With her eclectic taste in music, ranging from energetic grooves with plenty of vocals to a deeper, progressive sound, Miss Nine is sure to turn heads and move feet any where she performs.
Kristin Schrot began her career, not as a DJ, but as a model. At 16, she made it to the finals of one of the largest modeling pageants in Germany, and soon after secured a worldwide contract with Elite Model Management. Longing for more, her passion for music led Kristin to move […]

Every tooth in a man’s head is more valuable than a diamond. ~Miguel de Cervantes, Don Quixote, 1605
I would totally agree. You cannot replace a lost tooth. Well, yes you can artificially, but it’s never the same as the original one.
With these, I pledge to take Total Care of my teeth, gums and mouth. I have very sensitive gums, and caring for just teeth alone is not enough. My mouth is very small and my teeth are crowded. Inspite of the fact that I had 4 teeth removed already (wisdom tooth), my teeth still feels crowded and brushing alone will not reach those tight places in between my teeth. The dentist said, this is a breeding groud for bacteria and other eeky microorganisms.
I don’t want that and like I said, I won’t only take care of my teeth, but my gums too and whatever goes in between!
The […]
