One Friday of Lent my bestfriend and I ate in Hukad Ayala Terraces. Since it is a friday of lent then I had to order non-meat food. I started it out with a delicious bowl of Kinilaw na Isda.
Hukad Ayala Terraces never ceases to amaze me with their delicious taste of Pinoy food. My […]

I am not a Cosplay fanatic, but I learned to appreciate this artistic hobby upon meeting Alodia and Ashley Gosiengfiao in person last October 2009 at the Nuffnang Blog Awards. My friends and I were a bit intimidated with the two lovely sisters because we heard a lot of praises (and criticisms) about them. We are lucky enough because we were able to spend a whole day with them just touring around Singapore Lah!
Cosplay stars Ashley and Alodia Gosiengfiao
Just last night, I saw them again at the backstage of TV5’s Grand Launch. Nice of them to approach me first and call my name! It simply means one thing and I bet you guys know that
Though I don’t really blog about cosplays and I never really tried to do anything related to it, I would like to share some of the photos of Alodia and Ashley Gosiengfiao […]

Thank God It’s Monday! I was invited by my friends from NuffnangPH to meet Tim and Ming, the young founders of Nuffnang, the leading blog advertising network in Asia! Since most of the Nuffies are Rockeoke regulars at Mag:Net High Street on Mondays (paging Kel, Carlos and Judd!), no wonder they decided to make the first night of Tim and Ming in the Philippines extra special by letting them act like a rockstar even just for a night.
How do Nuffies do the Rock 'n Roll? Let Carlos teach you lah..
I went there at 10PM (Failed to drink Margarita with them at Agave – Boo!) and as expected, everyone is ready with their song. I will simply present a photostory for you to have an idea on what happened that Nuffy Monday

I was informed that a few years ago the place did not have much butterflies but now they seem to have more specimens than before. It was rather […]

THE NEWS IS OUT: JC De Vera, a homegrown talent of GMA-7 is now an official TV-5 Talent.
The news is not a big surprise after all. I bet the followers of the actor would agree with me that they would rather see JC signed in another network than keep him as one of the ‘frozen’ artists of the Kapuso station.
JC De Vera – TV5's Newest Prince!
I was invited by Kuya Myk to attend the official solo launch of JC De Vera as the newest ‘ka-shake’. With my friend Ada, we went straight to Mario’s Tomas Morato last Tuesday after my shift at work. I must admit that I am a fan of JC.
My admiration for his talent started way back in his Click Barkada days (where he was initially paired with Valerie Concepcion). I saw him transform from a boy-next-door to a serious actor after he appeared in drama shows […]

Do you love watching movies? Well, I’d be more than willing to hear your recommendations as the theme for Week 4 of my Share Your DiscOVIries has something to do with films. I am scouting for the ‘must-watch movies of 2010′.
Here’s a sample entry:
Hello Perseus! Why don't you take a break and drink iced mocha?
I am looking forward to the Philippine release of the movie ‘Clash of the Titans’. The movie is a mythological fantasy clash with Sam Worthington playing the role Perseus. Just saw the trailer awhile ago and I would love to see this film in a 3D mode. I bet it will scare me in some parts! Aside from the fact that this looks like a well-made film, the endorsement of my favorite donut shop is a plus factor
Any movie will do – whether that is comedy, drama, romance, action, sci-fi, indie -anything! Whether that […]

Have you ever traded something very valuable in the desperate need to exchange for money? Have you ever lost something which you would have called a “priceless” belonging and never to see it again? It was probably because you pawned it in a very suspicious pawnshop.
What could be worst is that you won’t get your […]

Holy Week 2010 is fast-approaching! Surely, most of you are going out-of-town with your loved ones though some might just stay at home. Aside from the fact that people tend to consider this as a good break from work, it is also a special week that we dedicate to our Creator.
Outside Our Lady of Immaculate Concepcion (Oslob, Cebu)
Last week, I had the chance to have my early ‘Visita Iglesia’ in Cebu. We went to seven beautiful churches and I am truly amazed on how it was maintained throughout the years.
It has been a tradition in the Philipines to have the yearly Visita Iglesia during Semana Santa. Devotees usually go to different churches, light candles, say a little prayer and state their wish. The Visita Iglesia I did in Cebu is my first time ever.
I have no plans yet for this Holy Week break. A friend of mine gave me a […]
