Hey guys, healthy living need not be booooorrrrriiiing.
Two contests for the young — ahem, that’s me —- and the not-so-very-young are ongoing on Facebook. Really, there are so many contests there, but these two got my attention.
For one, I’m into healthy lifestyle. Or I try my damned best to be.Â
Two, these contests are encouraging us to channel our creative juices to be funny, quirky, amusing, nutty but with good intentions. Whoa!!!

Ladies, admit it. Â I know you all feel more powerful now with your different careers and roles in life. Â I started to feel powerful the moment I graduated college and passed the CPA board exam. Â Instead of celebrating, my parents said “no more allowance, you need to get a job now.” @_@ I was like “but, but, but… I don’t have a job yet!” Â Well I guess, it forced me to get a job pronto!
That was scary for me at that time. Â I was panicking and I was like, no more malls? no more shopping? no more food trips? Unless I get a job. Â It was pretty scary but indeed it was still very empowering!

Just got back from watching Green Lantern
Geek mode.. and yes, recently after my eye infection thingy, my vision got blurry and had to put on glasses all the time. 🙁
I have been catching up on the comic world lately and I actually just saw the Green Lantern animated movie and I was so excited to watch the live-action film with Ryan Reynolds and my favorite Gossip Girl Blake Lively <3 they’re both so hot!
I had to miss Pole practice for this, but I also couldn’t miss watching it with Krispy Kreme and other blogger friends! Earlier, I blogged about how Pole Dancing has helped me get over Quarter Life Crisis. I will do whatever it takes to keep dancing from now on There are many things you I need to improve with my body for a long lasting pole career and that would have to be working on my flexibility, getting stronger and more toned legs so that I can grip the pole better. These things I have to work on will surely give me more health benifits as well!
I noticed the teachers in our Pole Class better known as the Polecats wear these FitFlops… I’ve heard a great deal about them helping people avoid back aches and toning your legs… A gym within a shoe (or sandals)
