Sinulog sa Kabataan 2011 Despite my hectic schedule I was able to find some time to continue with my tradition of shooting during the Sinulog week. (This is my fourth year of shooting for Sinulog, yey!) I knew I couldn’t let go of the opportunity to shoot to get some pictures of the Sinulog sa […]

My trip to Thunderbird Resorts Poro Point in San Fernando, La Union was extraordinary. I was born and raised in Dagupan City in Pangasinan, which is just beside the province of La Union. Region 1 had a limited number of resorts for tourists who are looking for high-class accommodation way back. Now, the number of tourists is increasing due to the impressive Mediterranean-inspired destination.
As a sign of appreciation to their loyal online followers, Thunderbird Resorts recently launched a video contest called the ‘Extraordinary Online Video Contest‘. The prizes at stake are really great and i somewhat regret that i can’t possibly join this contest now :/ I am encouraging all of my online friends to join this contest and tag me along if you win HAHA just kidding (but please take that seriously LOL)
Here’s the Extraordinary Online Video Contest Press Release:
Dubbed as “Extraordinaryâ€, Thunderbird Resorts launches its first Online Video […]

There’s a new juice drink in the market today and I was able to get hold of them a few days ago. It’s called Smart C+. I was hesitant at first to give this beverage a try, simply because it’s from Oishi (I know, it’s a prejudice). But then, I said to myself, if Oishi […]

Preparing Bacon-Wrapped Asparagus is a post from: Batang Yagit
Preparing Bacon-Wrapped Asparagus is a post from: Batang Yagit I recently did a little kitchen experiment with the smoked bacon slices I got last Christmas. Since it has been a while since I last cooked a dish, I decided to experiment with the bacon left-overs a couple of days ago. I decided to make my […]

You know how they say that the different natural resources are God’s blessings to us humans? Well think about God’s blessing to us readily bottled for us to drink… I just drank a bottle of Minute Maid Pulpy. They say it’s got ‘no preservatives added’. Aw, c’mon…It’s bottled juice. Is that even possible? So I […]

It’s going to be summer soon and one of the less crowded beach destinations for the people in Manila is San Juan, Batangas. And along General Luna St in Poblacion, San Juan – a few houses before you turn towards the road leading to the Laiya beach resorts is Liloy’s Restaurant. In a place where […]

It’s the start of the new century and just like the previous years, a lot of people are writing their goals and resolutions for the new year. It is an ongoing tradition that we tend to forget once the calendar strikes at the month of February.
How will i make 2011 Extra Special?
Since i am bored and feeling a bit blah as i write this entry, i am listing down some of my Quality Goals for 2011. I will make it as realistic as possible. I’m glad that i did great last year and i am looking forward to grabbing more opportunities this year.
Now show me the bulleted list!
FAMILY FIRST – Enough said.
Be Healthy – Last year, i failed to beat my insomnia. I think that is every writer’s problem. We tend to think and work better at night until 5am. Although this sounds a bit irresponsible or so, i usually […]

Yes, that’s right. Starting March 2011, Starbucks will have a new logo. The company has dropped the words “Starbucks Coffee” and will now use the iconic green siren for its new logo. Good move or bad? Fans in the US have mixed reactions but mostly say that they don’t like the change. The most common […]

And this I must admit, I am very conservative when it comes to facial products i.e. moisturizers, exfoliant, skin whitening products etc. I don’t like experimenting with my face because of the obvious reason, I don’t want to screw it up Hahaha. So I would be content in using natural ingredients to take care of […]

Last year, i mentioned on my ‘Myx-ed 2010 Goals‘ that I’ll try my very best to go to England on my own. I was half serious about it and since going to any European country from the Philippines is not an easy one (with the visa application and the expensive airfare), i am very happy to say that i am now blogging from our home here in Rugby, Warwickshire in England
Ending the year @ Winter Wonderland
2010 is the year of travel for me. I’ve been to different provinces (mostly first time), five countries and i became a bit more open-minded with a lot of stuff related to traveling and life in general. Like what i mentioned in one of my previous posts,”Life is a journey – Go and travel’.
I’ll try to summarize my 2010 by month. Starting another yearender post makes me smile and thankful […]

And this year I will have my own take on having a year-long project. I thought a 52-weeks project is more achievable than a 365-days one. So here’s what I have in mind: I’m gonna have something like a lookbook project. I actually find it a little narcissistic but I think it’s okay. Hahaha I’d […]

Surviving the tests of time, El Ideal Bakery and Refreshments stands strong in the heart of Silay City in Negros Occidental. Established in the 1920′s by Mr. Cesar Locsin y Lacson, it’s the best place to rest and unwind after visiting and looking at all the old houses and museums in the city. A historical […]

2010 was a great year. 2011 will be another great year. As usual, this post is another recap of the year that was. A sequel of my yearly year-end posts. I only made 13 blog posts last year. I almost quitted blogging, but everyone knew that it was a joke. It was partly true and I really intended to quit. If it wasn’t for my friends and readers who encouraged me to continue what I started, I’m not writing this post right now.
I traveled a lot last year, visited several Asian countries for the first time. I bought a myriad of white elephants. Had a skinhead haircut (no. 3 in the barber’s code). Spent a lot, but earned a lot more. I earned more than twice than I earned in just one month last year compared to the year before last year.
I made my first font inspired by my handwritten […]
